This was a fantastic day trip. We started at the ruins of the Dunluce Castle, which also feature spectacular views. The Giants Causeway is breathtaking and gave us a chance to do some walking. Being in Belfast was amazing. Our guide was fantastic and gave us so much history and information on the bus ride. I would highly recommend this activity.

I really enjoyed (for the most part) my tour from Dublin to Dunluce / Giants Causeway / Belfast. The criticisms I would raise are more guidelines to future travellers and not complaints per-se. The pickup point was easy to find and smoothly run. Seats were comfortable, though I found the temperature too warm, I did hear others claim it was too cool. So I suppose it must have been just right for most people. First issue - the wifi is shockingly poor. I happen to think you don't need it, but I was with young folk who need wifi like I need oxygen. So just saying. The drive up was very smooth, easy to fall asleep on while the guide brought tourists up to speed on The Troubles and some basic history, and he did so in a way that was fair and balanced, I think. The first stop, the Park (a kind of shopping centre) doesn't really allow time for everyone to order at the one Cafe (it was a Sunday, most places were closed). Also, the ATMs at the stop had a truly barbaric exchange rate, so please remember to get your currency (if you need cash) before you go. 1 pound sterling should not cost you 1.60 Euro. DUNLUCE Castle is beautiful and historic. It is also pricey if you want to buy stuff from the souvenir shop. Even the entry fee is pricey considering how little time a fixed tour gives you there, but the cost of admission is built into Wild Rovers tour, so it's fine. But if you were there on your own you would probably want to stay longer and take your time to get your moneys' worth. The Giants Causeway was the next main stop. Beautiful natural scenery, with a pricey admission fee that again is built into the tour price. The walk is longer than I was expecting making it a difficult juggling act to do the walk and get to the recommended lunch spot, the Nook. Second bit of advice. AVOID THE NOOK. Read the 1 star reviews on Google. They are all accurate. Over 20GBP for a chicken and bacon sandwich? That looks like it was slapped together by a bored student earning minimum wage who is more interested in the contents of his phones screen? Avoid, avoid, avoid. You can eat better in Belfast, which is the next stop. If you're into your history, you can take the 70 minute walk around some of the more impressive buildings in the heart of Belfast's city centre, but honestly I would travel on foot a little far away from where the tour drops you off, and have a leisurely pleasant meal and a pint, do a bit of shopping, head back to the bus. If you like your history, a day trip to Belfast with google in your hand might suit you better. You'll see more. On the day I took this tour, our bus driver got a little lost, drove us past the Salmon of Knowledge twice (sorry Lisa, it's true) but that was more funny than a negative. I had a great time, but tips would be: Bring some food/drink with you, make sure you get cash before going (if you think you'll need it), AVOID THE NOOK, and beware of any place where they are the only option in miles, they will fleece you and be brazen about it. Wild Rover is a great tour operator, I do think though that this particular tour feels like it doesn't really manage the time as well as it might. I would have spent longer at Dunluce, longer at the Causeway, longer in Belfast, but you can only do so much in a day I suppose, so if you know going in that you'll feel a bit rushed or only have time for a "taster" experience of the castle and the Causeway and Belfast, then you can't be disappointed. Excellent value for money too. Tip the guide and driver when it's all over. ;)

Best of the four tours I took while in Ireland! Excellent tour and what really made it special were David our tour guide and Patrick our driver!

We had a great trip to Dunluce Castle, the Giants Causeway and Belfast thanks to Maurice and Donna. Maurice is very knowledgeable and shared some great stories along with Irish history. Donna did a great job driving and we were safe and on track throughout the day.

Maurice is a great tour guide, he is funny and knows everything about Ireland’s history and made us feel really connected with the places.

Tour guide Sean and driver Billy were a great pair. Organized, friendly, punctual and engaging. Unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favour but overall the experience was great especially Giants Causeway. Belfast wasn't what I was expecting as it's a pretty modern city, but it was a nice place for a coffee and pastry and because of the music festival it was lively.

The excursion is well organized, although the time we spent at the Causeway was 15 minutes less than stipulated, despite having started the excursion at 7:00 instead of 7:15 and having made the first stop 20 minutes early. The walk with the local guide we got for Belfast did not meet what was indicated, since almost the entire time the guide we had stayed in the city hall square and did not walk around the city, a shame because then there is little free time left to walk on your own. The guide for the excursion to the Causeway and the castle was kind and attentive, giving useful tips about food and restrooms.
