Words cannot express my sincere gratitude to Lois, Sandra and Elvis. I ended up breaking my leg on our excursion and Lois and Sandra did absolutely everything they could to help me and my daughters. Lois called for help and ran back and forth countless times to ensure I was ok and the ambulance could get to me. Sandra drove my children to the hospital behind me and stayed with them the entire time I was in the ER, she even bought them snacks! Elvis was there with the van when I needed transportation to the pharmacy where Sandra went in and purchased my meds and crutches for me. Then they drove us back to the port and I was able to board the boat with 45 minutes to spare. They all were absolute angels and I can’t be more thankful for these 3 amazing individuals on one of the hardest days of my life. It showed my girls there are still good people in this world. What we did see on the tour was spectacular and I highly recommend this tour when you’re in the Azores. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

This was absolutely worth it. The views were incredible and such a highlight of our time in the port of Azores. The drive was scenic when we stopped at the local village. Everything ran smoothly. This is a great way to see a lot in just a half day. I highly recommend this.

Eduardo/Eddie was our guide and he was great. Turned out to be a private tour, party of three adults, and all of us enjoyed the day. We chose the 3.5hr tour and it was a perfect fit for us. Not physically demanding and Eddie did great at explaining every step plus providing interesting facts along the way. Ride was comfortable and we lucked out on the weather.

Lovely drive to Crater lake and a brief stop in a little village. The scenery exceeded our expectations and our guide stopped at all the best places for photos. We enjoyed having only 6 people in the van vs. a big tour bus. A great alternative to expensive and crowded cruise ship shore excursions.

We learned so much about the Azores. Our guide Mauricio was very knowledgeable. Only having 8 people in the tour he was able to answer any questions we had. Beautiful place.

A fun day but when they say minivan, they mean mini. Eight people and driver in a smallish car was a bit tight. Scenery was great. Overall an ok experience.

This is the perfect tour, especially for those on a cruise ship! Our tour guide (Rodrigo) was excellent! Kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and took his time showing us the beautiful caldera. Even let us take our time and walk along the lake. He found the best views for us to take photos. No worries about meeting him. He will be in the cruise terminal holding a sign with your name on it. Only six passengers plus him in the van, so it was easy to hear him in this setting. You won't regret this one!! Perfect all the way!!
