Throughout the day, Jose made sure everyone was comfortable, answered every question with enthusiasm, and took us to spectacular viewpoints that we never would have found on our own. His pride in the island was contagious, and by the end of the tour we had an even greater appreciation for the people, landscapes, and efforts to protect this special destination. This company/trip was recommended by someone we met at the airport. They said it was a must. So we booked! From the moment Goncalo picked us up to the moment he dropped us off - it was an amazing adventure. The weather was not the greatest and we weren’t sure how it was going to be. Goncalo was able to pivot and make sure we had a good time and catch all the sights we could. Regardless of the heavy fog and rain, the day was EPIC. If you are worried about the weather- don’t. The guides are fantastic and tailor the day around the weather so you still see a lot of the Azores.
