We booked an ocean safari during our stay in South Africa and it exceeded every expectation. We had the boat just for us, and our guide Mikayla was fantastic from start to finish. She took us to the areas she thought gave us the best chance of spotting marine life — and she was right. We watched dolphins feeding and leaping out of the water, spotted two humpback whales, and even came across a couple of penguins. All in one trip. Mikayla’s knowledge and enthusiasm made it. She was genuinely invested in giving us the best possible time rather than just ticking boxes, and it showed. If you’re visiting the area, don’t skip this. Ask for Mikayla if you can.

We had an amazing experience with Mikaela! She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole tour so enjoyable. We were lucky enough to see dolphins, penguins, and seals, which made the trip even more special. The speedboat ride at the end was absolutely incredible — so much fun and a perfect way to finish the experience. Highly recommended!

Feel like active? Then do this trip by kayak. Although in the middle of the day - still dolphins, penguins and seals seen! Very special. Also beautiful view of Cape Town and Table Mountain from the water!

We knew that nothing is guaranteed in the ocean and this was clearly explained by Ricardo. The boat ride itself was brilliant….such a fun experience! We were however absolutely blessed to find a hump back whale….WOW! Watching him around us was simply breathtaking! Ricardo, our guide was a superstar giving us a trip we will never forget & deserves at least 10 stars!!!

This was maybe the single best hour of our week-long stay in Cape Town. The boat looked like new and was well-matained. The "ocean safari" was terrific, a good balance of thrilling high-speed runs over huge sea swells, and nature stops to view wildlife. But what really made the day great was our captain, Yousef. Yousef is a skilled driver. He was attentive to his passengers, making sure everyone felt safe. He turned a good experience into a great one.

Absolutely amazing the skipper shoulda been in Mona he was informative and made us all feel @ ease making sure as a group we were safe and ok. The jet boat was like a roller coaster on the sea, we saw penguins and dolphins early on, I'd highly recommend but your need to brave the bumps and waves, awesome.

In 2020, Captain Riccardo took my wife and I out on a private tour and it was great. This time around in 2024, we returned with our son for another private tour and we all had a blast. Huge thank you to Captain Josh who was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable and accommodating with our little skipper in the making. Looking forward to coming back again. Thanks team!

Boat was good. Only a few sea lions seen. What really bothered us, however, was that the boatmaster deliberately and for the amusement of the other tourists, drove birds through the middle of a large collection to scare them off. These were eating and in some cases almost got under the boat!

The description was vague. All we did was take a super fast zodiac boat ride in choppy waters. It should say if you have back issues this may not be for you.
