1980年代、現在の所有者が、ファサードとパティオが19世紀前半に遡るこのイタリア風家屋の修復を試みているときに、うっかり考古学的発見をした。 発掘調査の結果、かつてザンホン・デ・グラナドスを流れていたトンネルの跡、シスター、貯水槽、器具、容器、および1700年、1740年、1830年の建物跡が、邸宅と隣接する建物の下から回収された。

The girl who led the tour had a lot of knowledge about the place. She answered all the questions and curiosities of the group. With people like that, it is a pleasure to go on tours ❤️😍. There were people who took photos of the tunnel when the girl strictly requested that they not do so; it is suggested that they be even more strict.
Tunnels of the old colonial Buenos Aires. A very nice experience to learn about the history of the colonial city.

The tour was well-done and very interesting. It was a small group so it was a great break from the tourist crowds while being entertained and educated on the area’s history.
