Such an amazing experience, we all learn so much about the breeds of sheep and about what the dogs do. We even got to see them in action. The farm tour was SUPERB our guide Jeff made lots of funny jokes and we were able to get up close to all of the animals and even FEED them! Such an unforgettable experience and we were so stoked and pleased at the end.
We did a friend’s trip to Rotorua and we booked the Farm Experience at Agrodome. We had the absolute BEST time!! The price is 100% worth it, we would’ve been happy with just the Farm Show but to even have the Farm Tour aswell topped it off🙌 Service from check in was awesome, farm show guide & farm tour guide was great! Really entertaining and funny😁💯 We would book this activity again and again, very highly recommend booking this to everyone (international & NZ locals) this is the best activity we have done in Rotorua💖💖 Thank you Agrodome Family!!!
My partner and I took our two kids (4 and 10months) and had a great day. The show was fantastic. The best part was when we got to feed the baby lambs a bottle on stage. The farm tour was great, although very cold winds in the open air trailer towed behind a tractor. Make sure you bring warm clothing. We loved getting to pat and feed all the very hungry sheep and alpaca. All of the staff were amazing.
Brought our family group of 8 (including overseas relatives) to the Agrodome on 21 August, and it was a massive hit! Even though I’ve been before, watching the farm show and interacting with the animals never gets old. It’s the perfect authentic Kiwi experience for international guests. The facility is well-organised, and the staff are fantastic with crowds. A special shoutout to Nella for looking after our big group so wonderfully—she truly went above and beyond. Highly recommended for families!

Authentic New Zeakand farm experience learning about sheep farming, herding, getting up close and personal with multiple types of farm animals out in the paddock. Highly recommend.
It was very entertaining and worth doing. We couldn’t get headphones to work during the show. Although the commentator was good, she was a little hard to understand for foreigners and the microphone was a bit overpowering so the translation would have been helpful. On the farm visit we thought the access to the trailer could have been better for elderly people. Sarah was a great tour guide. She was amusing and kept us entertained from start to finish.

Most definitely recommend for parents or grandparents who want to take their children, grandchildren. Or just even with your friends, awesome experience. Absolutely loved it. Wont give away too much cos if I describe it, it’ll be like you were there with us! 100/00 Go to the Agrodome, the 11 o'clock show and farm tour, wont be disappointed!
