We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Half-Day Wine Tour of Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire with Provence Wine Tours, and especially with our wonderful guide, Anya! Anya took us to two beautiful wineries in the Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire wine region, including one of the largest wine producers in the area. The experience was incredibly informative, and we had the opportunity to taste approximately 12 different wines while learning so much about the winemaking process. Anya shared fascinating details about the different methods of fermentation and wine production, including the use of concrete, stainless steel, and oak barrels. Her knowledge of the wines and the region was truly impressive, but what made the experience especially memorable was how warm, sweet, and delightful she was. Anya has such a wonderful way of sharing her knowledge — she was informative without ever making it feel overwhelming, and her passion for wine and Provence really came through. We learned so much and had such a lovely time exploring the Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire region with her. Anya was truly the sweetest and most knowledgeable guide we could have asked for. She made our wine tour a very special part of our time in Provence, and we would absolutely recommend this tour — and especially Anya — to anyone wanting to discover the wines of Sainte-Victoire! 🍷❤️

Anya was a great guide—very knowledgeable about the wines and wineries, and she also shared some helpful general tips for our time in Aix. We visited two wineries about 30 minutes from Aix. The first, Mas de Cadenet, was a family-owned and operated working winery. During our visit, the owner and crew were transferring “cooked” grape must from the cooker into tanks for fermentation. It was fascinating to see the process underway. Their base rosé was our favorite of the ten wines we tasted during the tour. The second winery, Domaine Terre de Mistral, was a larger-volume operation that also produced limited quantities of olive oil. Its wines were very different from those at the first winery, so the second tasting didn’t feel repetitive. The wines were remarkably aromatic—even with my allergies, I could smell them from the other side of the table. Overall, it was an enjoyable and informative half-day tour that offered two distinctly different winery experiences.

Half day wine tour was excellent. Our guide, Anya, was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the wines and wineries. Visited two wineries and enjoyed some fabulous varieties of wine. Well worth it. Highly recommended.

This was a great wine tour. Our guide knew a lot about wine and was able to answer all questions. She made the experience great! The wine was fabulous and the vineyards were gorgeous. We learned a lot about the wine making process and Rose!

My friend and I attended this tour and had a great time! Stephan, our tour guide, was really fun, upbeat, and knowledgeable. He helped us dive more into culture and made wine tasting approachable. You can't beat the views and village we stopped in for lunch. It was really a great day and we'd recommend.

Nice trip out to a couple of wineries near Aix, you end back in Aix for whatever you want to do for the afternoon.

Lorus, our tour guide, was fantastic. He’s a sommelier and did a wonderful job explaining the wine and winemaking process. We went to two local wineries who produce excellent but distinctly different wine. Highly recommend!

Our wine guide Loris made our trip to visit two wineries in the shadow of Mount Ste Victoire a pleasure. A nice morning outing away from the city…interesting local wines to taste, great views of the mountain and even an engaging vineyard dog to meet. Recommended.
