Salt mines were amazing. Yes, you have to walk down almost 400 steps. Not bad doing it but the next day - ouch - and I am in good shape. The concentration camps are somewhere everyone should visit. Never forget. Our guides were great - very informative. My only negative is that the day was very long with no lunch stop (other than vending machine). Would recommend bringing your own sandwich!
Fantastic full day trip with our tour guide Kris. He was very informative and knowledgeable and did everything he could to accommodate the group in a friendly and relaxed manner. Everyone was made to feel comfortable and we would highly recommend this tour. However, be prepared for lots of walking!

This tour is a must. Especially if your driver is Michael. The morning was the visit to the salt mine. A very cool place with outstanding carvings from salt. The afternoon was the camps. However I must say that I was a bit disappointed with Auschwitz. It seemed that it has been sterilized and one can not feel the horrors, cruelties and heartache the way it must be felt. Birkenau was more realistic in that sense even though most everything is in ruins A visit though is a must. Just beware that the tour will start a couple of hours before the advertised start time
A tour that is a must. Our guide Michael did an amazing job. An amusing morning in the morning at the mine and a sobering afternoon at the camp. Just beware of the start time. It was advertised as 8:30 but was changed to 6:30 in the morning the day before. Quite inconvenient.
