We did the excursion to Piedras Rojas, high-altitude lagoons, and salt flats, where we were also able to see flamingos, and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. I traveled with my mom from Argentina and we enjoyed the whole tour very much. The landscapes are truly impressive and the excursion was very well organized, with good timing at each stop and a very delicious and complete breakfast. Our guide, Manuel, explained throughout the day about the places we visited, the geography, the history, and different aspects of Chile, which made the tour much more interesting and not just about going from one landscape to another. We also traveled with Daniel as the driver, and together with Manuel they made a very fun duo. They created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout the day, and that added a lot to the experience. Piedras Rojas, the high-altitude lagoons, the salt flat, and being able to see the flamingos were spectacular. We are taking home a beautiful memory of the day and we were very happy with the organization and the experience in general. Highly recommended.

The experience with Whipala was incredible; all the guides and tours were magnificent. Very punctual and attentive. Orlando was wonderful with his explanations.

When you’re visiting Atacama, many tour companies visit the same incredible destinations, but what really makes each experience different is the people you experience them with. Manuel, Daniel, and Mirko made this excursion so much more fun and memorable. All three had such bright, funny personalities and kept the energy going throughout the day. They were also incredibly helpful — whether it was taking photos, helping us get the perfect shot, answering questions, or making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. The scenery is beautiful no matter who you book with, but a great team can completely change the experience. These three definitely did that! This tour was incredible - my favourite day in the Atacama! The pick up was well organized, and the guide, assistant and driver were all wonderful. Every sight that we visited was so beautiful - I wished we could stay at each place for twice as long! We saw so much wildlife, and the natural landscapes were stunning. Bring some of your own food, because it's a while before you get breakfast and then a long time until lunch! Do also be prepared for cold weather, mostly due to wind. The guide Lorena was so knowledgeable and delivered the tour in Spanish, English and Portuguese. She also answered so many questions, and we had so much fun as a group! I went as a solo traveller and chatted with lots of people.

The original excursion was canceled and replaced by another much shorter one (2.5 hours less) and with fewer stops for the same price. Agency refused to give a discount. The other agencies nearby are cheaper than this one booked months in advance on the internet... Even though the excursion was interesting, I do not recommend this agency!

During our stay in San Pedro de Atacama, we did all our tours with this agency and the experience was excellent from start to finish. We especially highlight their punctuality, the comfort and cleanliness of the transfers, as well as the quality of the breakfasts and lunches, which met and even exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, the best part of the experience was the guides. We want to especially thank Lorena and Vanessa, with whom we did two tours. Their professionalism, approachability, and extensive knowledge made each tour very enriching. In addition, they always gave us enough time to enjoy each place, take photographs, and get to know the surroundings calmly, without feeling rushed. We also did the Rainbow Tour with Manuel, who was very nice and friendly throughout the entire tour. He shared interesting knowledge about each place and, like the other guides, gave us all the time necessary to explore and enjoy each stop calmly. On the other hand, we did the Valle de la Luna AM tour with Lucas, who was also an excellent guide. His experience, willingness, and good attitude made the tour very entertaining and interesting, accompanying us at all times and providing clear and valuable information about each site visited. In short, it was an unforgettable experience. The entire team showed great commitment to the passengers, making each tour comfortable, safe, and very well organized. We recommend this agency 100% and, if we return to San Pedro de Atacama, we will undoubtedly choose them again. Thank you very much for making our trip such a special experience!

It is a drama to book... the page redirects you to a tour operator. They limit you to having to visit with a tour. The place is pretty.. But it is seen much better from the road (a viewpoint) and it is free. The altitude affects you if you are not acclimated.

Excellent tour and excellent tour service. Did two tours with Whipala while in San Pedro and both were spectacular. Daniel is an amazing guide and every stop was incredible and well planned!

Incredible place, surreal landscapes, it is well worth the visit.

We took 4 tours with Whipala. The driving on narrow and sometimes complex roads was responsible. The guides showed preparation and knowledge. The breakfast included fresh and quality ingredients. I recommend them; it is clear that they know what they are doing.
