タメルはツアーの出発点です。活気に満ちた観光の中心地で、ホテルからレストラン、ショップ、スパ、クラブまで、ありとあらゆるものが揃っています。タメルで人力車に乗り、アサンに向かいます。
カトマンズの中心部に位置するアサンは、スパイスやハーブから電化製品や衣類まで、欲しいものは何でも見つかる歴史ある市場です。いつも買い物客で賑わっていますが、アサンの道端には寺院や古代の記念碑が点在しています。 ここで立ち寄って、豊かさの女神であるアンナプルナ寺院の前に立って周りを見回してください。アンナは食物、プルナは成就を意味します。 路地に沿って、カトマンズのヒンズー教徒と仏教徒の両方が崇拝する神であるジャナバハ・ディヨとしても知られるセト・マチンドラナートや、ヤランバール王として知られるネパール・バサの初代王アーカシュ・バイラブなど、さまざまな寺院に立ち寄ります。 アサンの狭い通りを人力車に乗ってカトマンズのダルバール広場に向かいます。
カトマンズ ダルバール広場には、数ブロック以内に 50 を超える寺院や神社があり、渓谷で最も歴史的建造物が密集しています。12 世紀から 18 世紀にかけて建てられたこの宮殿、中庭、寺院の複合施設は、かつてカトマンズの古代マッラ王の居城でした。 非常に目立つ、見逃せないもう 1 つの印象的なスポットは、 古代の木造寺院や広場の中には、ラナ政権時代に建てられたヨーロッパの影響を受けた白い建物、ガッディ バイタックもあります。今日では、そのバルコニーから多くの儀式が行われています。 ガイドからこれらの古代のモニュメントを観察し、学んだ後、人力車に乗って集合場所に戻ります。

Lovely to experience kathmandu in the evening and by rickshaw. Guide was very knowledge and informative. Enjoyed learning the history and seeing old kathmandu as well. Dunbar square was a highlight.

The tour was a great experience and a wonderful way to know Thamel and Durbar Square if you are new to Nepal. The rickshaw ride itself is so safe and the driver is a very jovial and supportive person. The tour guide is wonderful - she is chirpy, talkative and full of wonderful stories about Kathmandu and the culture. She gives you time to roam around personally too, and answers any questions. Durbar square is a beautiful place even at night - lively, cultural, and not very touristy - you get to see a slice of how locals in Kathmandu spend their weekends. Highly recommend.
It was a great night time tour with Bini, seeing some of the hidden gems of Themal and beyond. I got to see some great sites and experience the fast pace of a rickshaw.
Amazing way to see Kathmandu! I loved the whole experience. Got to try some delicious tea and lassi too. Sheena was a fantastic tour guide and knew so much history. Highly recommend!!
I had a great time on this tour. Exploring Kathmandu by night on a rickshaw was a really fun and interesting way to see the city, and it showed me places I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. The atmosphere in the evening was lively without feeling overwhelming, and it was fascinating to see the temples and squares in a totally different light. My guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer questions – which made the experience even better. Overall, an enjoyable way to discover Kathmandu.
