Anil did an excellent job as our tour guide, providing thorough and detailed historical context for the beautiful sites we visited. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. This tour does include a good bit of walking/crouching in the underground city, so be prepared with good shoes. If you have the Turkiye/Cappadocia museum pass, all of the sites will be covered, so purchase the admission not included version. Hotel pickup/drop-off is a nice perk as well. Highly recommend!

The Green tour is a must but pick your tour carefully. This tour offers a really good balance. Viewpoint of Goreme and Uchisar Castle, Derinkuyu Underground City amazing, Selime Monastery a must, 1hour in the canyon, 2 sales pitches (jewellery and food - which is fine and the air conditioning very welcome). Eres was a good guide - full of local knowledge and stories of the area. If you add up the tourist price entry fees and lunch and travel this is good value. We were only 6people which was great.

I went on Anil's tour! They have experience, the explanations are very easy to understand and the English is very easy to listen to, so even Japanese can participate with confidence! The guide was Turkish, but I was pleased that he was able to speak Korean fluently, so he could hear a rich explanation. Not only did I take pictures, but I explained it a lot, and I was so happy to be able to visit many places in Cappadocia.
