ゴルコンダフォートサウンド＆ライトショー - ハイデラバード

If you are visiting Hyderabad in summers and there is good heat , visiting Golconda fort in daytime with family & kids becomes uncomfortable. We were a group of 12 including kids so we opted for the evening light & sound show. The entry ticket was 140/- per person and we booked direct from them online. Have to reach early , because there are no seat numbers. Should wear proper clothes & carry mosquito repellent , as the show is in open ground. The show was pretty impressive and we got to know a lot about the Hindu kingdom and how it was overpowered by the Persians, and then by the Mughals. Specially recommended for the kids and also the history lovers. The show lasted for about 30 minutes, and we enjoyed every minute of that. There was good crowd , so advised to come early to take your preferred seats. There was an atmosphere similar to enjoying movies in drive In these days, and also remind us of our childhood when we used to see movies on projector in the open areas. Must visit !!

It is a pretty boring show. There is a lot of scope for improvement. There is not much light in the show. It was like listening to an audio seating at home

The show timings are 6.30 pm for English and 7.45 in Telugu ( Nov-Feb) and 7pm in English and 8.15 in Telugu ( Mar-Oct) . The admission fee is Rs.140 for adults and Rs.110 for children. You can book online on Telangana tourism official website or buy them from the counter at the fort before the show. There is no need to pay hefty monies to private operators. Both Ola and Uber services are easily available.
