Lorenzo was a great guide to the Palace. I would go back, in October!
Beautiful palace with a smaller collection of art work spanning several centuries and styles. Lorenzo was a fantastic guide, providing history and insight. He was also very patient with our limitations. Be aware that like the Vatican, this palace is not air conditioned. They offer umbrellas for walking the gardens, and some windows are open, but it is still very hot in August.

Very special tour
Very few people know about this palace that is only open 2 days a week and definitely worth seeing
Our guide Lorenzo was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour of the palace and outside gardens
He taught us about the history of the Colonna family and showed us very interesting art work

Fascinating Tour
The interplay of art, politics and history makes this a fascinating tour. We were fortunate to have Rebecca as a guide, who did very well putting all the facets in context, making for a most enjoyable morning .

Galleria Colonna
We booked a guided tour through Colonna Palace website. The palace is in amazing condition thanks to the heirs who did a great job of maintaining it. Our guide was Frederica and she was delightful, very knowledgeable and insightful. Highly recommend booking a tour with her.

Palazzo Museum Colonna Tour
We had a private tour organised by our hotel of The Gallery, private apartments and gardens of the Palazzo. Our tour English tour guide was called Rebecca Harden and was without doubt the best guide we have ever encountered. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of not only the paintings but the context of their importance in the history of Rome. A truly vivacious and inspiring tour would highly recommend her.

Colonna Palace
Loved all the art work, of course, and the history presented to us by the guide. The gardens were just breathtaking. That was worth the trip by itself. Not to be missed.

Worth the cost
Linda was our tour guide. She was so knowledgeable that I had learned so much about the Colonna family and Roman history. I would highly recommend her and the tour!

A walk through History
Lorenzo was wonderful! Extremely knowledgeable and interesting. He has a delightful way about him. Very approachable. Anyone would be very lucky to have him as their guide.
