Easy booking, very good guidance, lots of input, successful

We had a super exciting guided tour with Mrs. Wedekind, who explained everything to us very detailed and appealing. We would never have discovered much of that otherwise. It was a highlight of our Hamburg stay because we learned a lot and saw unknowns. We can definitely recommend the tour. Also the length is great and you can take an expertly accompanied walk through the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thank you very much 😊

The tour was disappointing. Due to the soundscape, the speaker was very difficult to understand. There was no mic or anything like that. The tour gave the impression that a teacher was standing in front of us. No specific questions could be answered. It came very often that you could interpret something either way. No facts. When questions come to the account store and the speaker says that she has not been in there herself, that is very difficult. Also I would have liked that you can have a look at the old storage building from the inside. No, you only get sent to a shop (cafe), which was totally rebuilt inside. We were in Hamburg for a week, did 3 tours and that was by far the worst tour.

It was informative, but the group too big, sometimes too much info on rather noisy street corners. Unfortunately only a paternoster, which should also not be used, therefore in retrospect the title of the tour irritates Kontor houses and paternoster - a pity....

For a family celebration, I booked an individual tour of the Speicherstadt and Hafencity. It's always interesting for visitors, but even if you live in Hamburg, you always learn something new. A big compliment and thank you to our guide, Ms. Bruni Pinnau, for all her specialist knowledge and very friendly support. I would book a tour like this again with Stattreisen Hamburg at any time!

I have already done a few tours with Stattreisen and found each one to be very enriching. You learn a lot of exciting things, lively history always with reference to the here and now. This way you see your own city with different eyes and details that were previously meaningless tell a story that touches you in one way or another. The guides were all very well trained and able to pass on their knowledge, which you cannot read about anywhere, in an understandable, interesting and lifelike way.

This is an architectural gem in Hamburg which also has a wonderful World Heritage Centre in the iconic Chilehaus and pioneering early 20th century modern office block which still has lucky businesses in it. The World Heritage Centre web site has numerous offerings and is a good place to start if you are planning a visit to Hamburg or even during your stay.
