Highly recommend this guided walking tour with Sui. She is super knowledgeable, enthusiastic, inclusive of her guests, and is happy to give tips on other activities that you might be interested in. The 9 of us from different countries and native languages had a fun time and were made to feel welcomed. We discovered little gems in the neighbourhoods that we wouldn’t have been able to see and learn about otherwise.
Tour with Sui was very well organised. She shared a lot of interesting information, we have seen a lot of places and had a very good time. I learned a lot about the area but also about Japan and its culture. I highly recommend!
The guide was very sweet, very attentive to details from the meeting point, which was explained in great detail. The local guide led us through temples and streets, until we arrived at the Nezu shrine, explaining the traditions and history to us accurately. Being a small group, we were able to enjoy the place in peace, accommodating our own pace and needs. She also took some beautiful photos of us. I hope to do another tour with her on my next trip.
We really enjoyed the walk through the old Yanaka and Nezu districts! A most enriching experience! Our very professional and friendly guide Sui offered us lots of explanations and interesting facts about the past and present of the visited districts. She shared many insights about Japanese customs, religious practices and traditions throughout history, and showed us evocative corners off the beaten tracks. We also made short break in a traditional house, which added an unique old-world charm to our walk. Highly recommended experience!

It was the morning after we had landed in Tokyo. My wife and I are on our first visit to Japan and were so glad that we’d signed up for this walking tour! This early experience introduced us to Japan in the best way possible! Sui was a wonderful guide, ever cheerful and helpful. Such a nice person! It was very evident that she loves what she does! She guided us through old established neighborhoods, explained historical facts, gladly clarified questions that our group had, provided some glimpses of local community and the Japanese way of life. My husband, 12 and 15 year old sons, and I took this tour on our first day in Japan, and all loved it. We saw everything from medieval Edo temples and shrines and centuries old wooden houses to modern mansions and everyday people’s homes; watched craftsmen at their work making and selling rice crackers (delicious!) and candies in 3rd and 4th generation businesses and also hip new bakeries and boutiques springing up in the quaint old alleyways. We learned the proper way to enter and pray in a Shinto shrine and a Buddhist temple. Sui is so kind and attentive and full of information about everything. This is the only tour we booked in Tokyo, and it was well worth it.
Good day spent with our guide Sui, exploring the local area away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Nice to see a different side of Tokyo and how the old has integrated with the new.
Tour guide was lively and her engkish was amazing. She brought enough enough for everyone herself and even added extras to the tour. 10/10 would do again Paul and Chris thank you.
