I was picked up from my hotel on time and driven back. It was a great afternoon. Bread is made and Alcatra is prepared and baked/cooked in the oven - which was preheated to 400° with charcoal. In addition, there were snacks, rice, and salad. Antonio and Tracey were very nice and explained everything well. The location is beautiful, with a great view. Highly recommended.

Antonio was fantastic, friendly, fun and informative. Gave us great tips and recommendations along with a wonderful cooking class!

Terrific experience enjoyed by my wife, 14 year old son, and me. Antonio picked us up at our airbnb, which was great as he also gave some history of the island(he also does island tours). His house was beautiful, amazing views of the sea from above , and great food. Appetizers all sourced locally were delicious and they were so hospitable. We made bread and the local specialty, Alcaltra, from scratch. It was truly a memorable experience and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island!

Four of us took the cooking class with Antonio and Lindsay and it was fantastic!! We learned so much and laughed so hard! Antonio picked us up at our hotel and whisked us to his beautiful property. He provided drinks and delicious appetizers while our food cooked. The meal itself was the best we had on the Island. On the way back he showed us a couple of sites that were true hidden gems. Our day with Antonio was truly a highlight in our trip to the Azores!

We had an excellent time with Antonio and his son. They were super hospitable and friendly. They went above and beyond for us! We highly recommend this experience and hope to be back!

Had a great time on both Pro Island Tours. I would warn people not to eat before the cooking class! It was big fun and their people are great.

Antonio and Phillip were amazing to spend the afternoon with. They were so warm and welcoming. We made bread, and authentic Alcatra. It was simply delicious. To pass the time we chatted and played games. On our way home Antonio went out of his way to show us an amazing site. On my next visit I will certainly book another tour.

We cooked an Alcatra with Antonio and Philip: we spent a few great hours. Antonio picked us up from the hotel in 4x4 to drive us to another place on the island and a "laser shingles". Everything was ready for the workshop. Learning to make the dish, discovering its origin but also other stories of the island was super interesting. Moreover the moment was super friendly: aperitif, wine at will, we discovered a board games with them both. Finally dinner arrived: the dish was super good. Don't hesitate, if you like cooking but also if you want to relax and chat with locals!
