We purchased a 3 days pass. Had to find out that a number of attractions where under maintenance or closed at all. Spent a lot of time for nothing. City pass was not very concerned as they are intermediary only. They just brush everything off.

30 refreshing minutes. Nice activity to push time till your next one… not a repeatable activity though. Purchased tickets on their website, however can be bought there. You will stand the same line/queue regardless.
Fun, no line (as it was a windy night). Price was ok. It's not a must but if we have some time to kill, it's worthy. We had fun!
Staffs are very professional in security and operations. Since the wheel is not big, I was on the wheel for 4 times. That is only reason for one less star.
Dissappointed. I never received a ticket and they didn’t accept this paperwork as a ticket. It seems I’m also too late for a refund.

Even if you buy a ticket online you still have to go to the ticket booth to get a printed ticket. The ride is about 10 minutes, or 4 rotations. You get great views of the area.
It was worth taking the Cape Wheel - beautiful views (your ride goes around 4 times). Lovely and cosy inside the car - nice tourist attraction.
Thrill-seeking fun on the wheel roller! The twists and turns had me with excitement. Great adrenaline rush and an unforgettable experience.

A good way to orientate yourself if it's your first visit to Cape Town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The views as you go around - 4 times - are great, with Table Mountain, Lion's Head and Signal Hill in view and the V&A waterfront right next door. Highly recommended.
I booked 2 weeks before our trip and we were told everything was set, received our digital tickets. But when we got to the Cape wheel we we disappointed to find that our tickets are invalid, the bar codes are totally different from the ones they work with
