Amazing experience. Knowledgeable and very friendly chef. Very relaxing atmosphere.

This was such an amazing cooking class. Communication was excellent. Thao met us at our hotel and arranged for a ride to the market. She met us there and we picked up all the fresh ingredients for our class. Then she arranged for our ride to her cooking location. All hands on cooking and so much food to eat. Absolutely delicious. Engaging and interactive time. At the end of class our return ride to the hotel was also arranged. Extraordinary value for everything we cooked and so much fun. I highly recommend.

PERFECT! We had a wonderfull experieve! Communication upfront, pick-up, welcome, treatment, explanation, market, cooking, food, all very well arranged by Thao. We really felt @ home. I had an amazing experience with Chef Thao! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, making the class fun and easy to follow. The market tour was a highlight, and I learned to cook several delicious Vietnamese dishes. The class was held in a beautiful garden, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend this cooking class, it was worth every penny.

Come hungry. Thao was my chef instructor and she did a wonderful job explaining EVERYTHING from ingredients, instructions and proper technique of preparing, serving and eating dishes.

Oh wow both chefs were fantastic. The walk to the market with description of all products. We were very pleased.

The location of this workshop itself is amazing. You are stationed in a beautiful garden under the roof with an outside kitchen setup. Start of the workshop is really special as you go to the market and pick up the ingredients with the host. During the class you join the host with the preparation of rice noodle spring rolls, bun bo hue soup, banana dessert and egg coffee. I suggest you do this class as soon you arrive to vietnam, so you get a good feel of the local food.

We loved it! The chef was so nice, talkative, and incredibly knowledgeable. First, she showed us around a great local market, and then we went to the cooking class in a beautiful outdoor kitchen. We spent a few lovely hours there learning how to prepare several Vietnamese dishes. Everything we tried was so tasty! It was the best way to start our trip around Vietnam, and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Vietnamese food and culture and spend a great time.

I can’t say enough good things about this cooking class! It was an incredible experience — 100% hands-on from start to finish. We cooked and then enjoyed a phenomenal meal with heaps of delicious food, and had such fun cooking in the garden with Thao (I hope I spelled that right!). Thao was a wonderful host and instructor — passionate, knowledgeable, and eager to share her love of Vietnamese cooking. We’d go again tomorrow if we could and have absolutely no reservations about highly recommending Thao’s cooking class to everyone!

Had an absolute blast! Chef Thao was wonderful and so knowledgable and I loved that it was in an outdoor area (you are covered from the sun and there’s fans going so it isn’t too hot at all). Make sure to come extremely hungry though as you make a ton of food to eat!
