Our tour guide Dani was great. He was really engaging and spoke really good English. This tour went around the most beautiful areas of the old town. It lasted 90 minutes which was perfect in the heat. Great value and highly recommended.
Dani was the best tour guide. He was knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He showed us the best views, told us interesting information, took fantastic pictures for us, and suggested other amazing things to check out while in Girona. My husband and I were so glad we got to experience this tour with Dani, we would definitely recommend it to anyone new to the area or visiting on vacation.
We did the Mysteries and Legends of Girona tour with our super-guide, Jordi, who we reckon is himself a bit of a Girona legend. It was a hot July day and Jordi made sure to keep his route in as much shade as possible. His knowledge of the city and its history was fantastic and he told us lots of stories as we wandered through the old parts. After we finished he even texted us a list of his favourite city restaurants. We would highly recommend this walking tour. Thank you Jordi.
Absolutely recommend this tour and ask for DANNY! So personable, knowledgeable and engaging. Excellent historian- was born in Girona and has lived all over the world. Speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish fluently and some Catalan. Knows the ins/ outs of the city and can also make recommendations for shopping and dining away from tourist traps. Thank you!!!
Jordi was an exceptionally informative guide with extensive knowledge of Catalan history. He was also kind and considerate to me personally (I was the only person on the tour). I enjoyed the tour very much; the only thing was, it was cold and raining a bit. So after two hours I said I had to go to a cafe to warm up! Otherwise I would have been happy to continue.
