Brandon was great! Kept really good track of time, even with a larger group. That would be the only minus to this experience- the large group size. Otherwise the ease of having all the tickets taken care of was great for the day trip. Lunch was delicious and the restaurant had great atmosphere as well. All the stops were beautiful and Brandon was very informative.
Pavel was great. So knowledgeable and entertaining. Found a great spot for us to eat, ordered in advance so no waiting. And not expensive. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely day trip to get away from the chaos of the city and breathe some fresh country air. 1) meeting spot is inaccurate and hard to find, the map location doesn’t coordinate. When I asked sandman for help, they copied the inaccurate meeting point again, and referred me to the guides WhatsApp who never responded to a request for assistance. We Started the whole day with anxiety and stress. 2) 5 hours before an indicated bathroom or meal break. “There is a wc, but we don’t have time”. 3)Guide was rude; he asked other travelers to vacate a cabin reserved for our group. They were clearly middle aged and from the Midwest. The woman was flustered and said “I’m sorry I’ve never done this before, do you know where we should be?” To which our guide said “that’s not my problem, I’m not paid by the railway company”. It was rude and an unnecessary comment. Later on, someone asked him to speak up, because we were on a sidewalk next to a busy road and instead of speaking up, he said to this elder gentleman “maybe you should realize you should move closer”. A person needed to make adjustments to the itinerary because they weren’t feeling well, and I don’t think the guide should have included the other 22 people in his annoyance about their business. He was openly agitated at being asked to make adjustments. The ossuary was great, and Jan may have had good information but his ability to adapt and be respectful was so poor that it really diminished the experience. I would not do this again or recommend to others specifically due to poor meeting point,and unpleasant guide.

From Praque, you meet at train station. You take two trains to Bone chapel. Then u take a bus to next location. The buildings we saw were quite good, however, I felt the group size is somewhat unmanageable. There was no free time to explore the city. The time schedule was tight. Wanted more info on bone chapel

Kutná Hora is a full-day excursion from Prague, and there is quite a lot to see. The main sites are also spread out, so the day does need to follow a fairly structured schedule. We try to find the best balance between showing our guests as much as possible without making the day exhausting. We also make sure there is time to rest, use the bathroom and, importantly, enjoy a proper lunch. We take our guests to a fantastic local restaurant where the food is prepared by an amazing chef, so the lunch break is really part of the experience itself. We definitely don’t want anyone spending a full day exploring Kutná Hora hungry! We completely understand that you would have liked more free time to walk around the city independently. Unfortunately, adding more free time would mean removing one of the main stops, and our aim with this excursion is to give guests the chance to experience as much of Kutná Hora as possible in one day. We especially appreciate your comment about wanting more information at the Bone Chapel. It’s such a unique and fascinating place, and this is something we can definitely discuss with our guides. Oliver was seriously the man with the plan—he had everything down perfectly! We actually started out at the WRONG train station (oops!), and Oliver went above and beyond. He called us, stayed in touch, and made sure we got to the meeting point safely AND in time to make the tour. I honestly don’t know how he pulled it off, especially under pressure, but he did—and he handled it flawlessly! And then there was the tour itself… Oliver was CRAZY knowledgeable! He was enthusiastic, engaging, entertaining, and cheeky! He even somehow managed to make all that history genuinely interesting and fun to listen to. You can tell he really knows his stuff and loves what he does!! At the end off the day, he had lots of suggestions for food, sites to see and other tour suggestions...for Prague and ELSEWHERE!!!
