エチオピアへようこそ。到着後、空港またはホテルでお迎えし、アフリカの首都/本部として広く知られるアディスアベバの新たな視点をご案内します。通常は、エントト山脈の最高峰であるエントト山まで車で登り、アディスアベバの賑やかな側面を観光することから始めます。エントト山からは街のパノラマビューが楽しめます。このため、途中で何か気になることがあれば自由に立ち寄ることができます。また、登る途中でご質問があれば喜んでお答えします。この山は海抜 3,200 メートルに達し、ユーカリの木々が密生しています。ユーカリの木々はメネリク 2 世の治世中にオーストラリアから輸入され、そのほとんどはハイレ セラシエ皇帝の治世中に植えられました。そのため、この山は「アディスアベバの肺」と呼ばれることもあります。山の森は、街の重要な薪の供給源です。以前は建築資材の供給源でもありました。
シロ メダ マーケットでは、色鮮やかな手織りの地元産スカーフや、綿で作られ、色鮮やかな刺繍が施された男性用および女性用のドレスを歩き回ったり、購入したりできます。時間があれば、黄色いマンションでこれらの色鮮やかなエチオピアの伝統衣装を織っている小さな新興企業を訪問することもできます。この旅の立ち寄り先では、地元の芸術にスポットライトを当て、何か興味のあるものがあれば、最高の価格で物々交換を楽しむことができるでしょう。
アディスアベバのツアーは、アディスアベバ大学の敷地内にある民族学博物館への訪問で続きます。この博物館は国立博物館とはまったく異なりますが、同様に興味深いものです。皇帝の教育への献身の象徴として大学建設時に寄贈された宮殿であるこの博物館には、エチオピアに住むほとんどの民族に関連するさまざまな工芸品や日用品が展示されています。
また、トリニティ大聖堂へも車で向かいます。この教会は、エチオピアのアディスアベバにある最高位の正教会の大聖堂です。イタリアの占領からのエチオピアの解放を記念して建てられ、アクスムのシオンの聖母マリア教会に次いでエチオピアで2番目に重要な礼拝所です。この大聖堂は、皇帝ハリー・セラシエ1世によって建てられました。また、ハイレ・セラシエ1世とその妻メネン皇后の墓もあります。
この八角形の大聖堂はアディスアベバの中心部に位置し、エチオピアとイタリアが初めて戦った「アドワの戦い」で多大な支援をした聖ジョージを称えるために建てられました。内部は美しく塗装されています。ここはハイレシラシエ1世の戴冠式の場所です。古代の書籍、十字架、その他の教会の宝物のコレクションを展示した小さな博物館があります。エチオピア正教の信仰について明確な考えが伝わってきます。

I don’t even know where to start. My trip was made so perfect by the hospitality and genuine care of Tess and his team. I literally felt at home as he made sure I was okay at any point in time and would take time to explain the history and culture of each place we went to. Tess is such a lovely human and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. I literally felt like royalty during my stay and will definitely be going back in a few months time. He has the best relationship with hospitality and tourism businesses such that he facilitated discounts at hotels and souvenir shops on my behalf. Best ever travel and tour company I’ve ever used. I will recommend him through and through to anyone who wants a great experience!

Tess is a great guide for Addis Ababa - he know the city very well. I would recommend him for sure. He’s an open book and can help you out with anything you’d like to know about Addis and Ethiopia in general.
I booked my tour 12 hours before departure and I was scared that they would not accept it, but to my surprise, they did and made sure my experience was easy from start to end.
