スタテンアイランドからスタテンアイランドフェリーに乗り、ロウアーマンハッタンへ向かいます。 サウスストリート・シーポートまで歩く前に、ウォールストリートエリアを見学する途中で自由の女神の歴史を見て学びましょう。
ブルックリン橋（ブルックリンばし、Brooklyn Bridge）は、ニューヨーク市にある斜張吊橋で、マンハッタン区とブルックリン区の間のイースト川に架かっている。 1883年5月24日に開通したブルックリン橋は、イースト川を固定横断する最初の橋であった。
ガバナーズ島（ガバナーズとう、Governors Island）は、ニューヨーク市マンハッタン区内にある、ニューヨーク港にある172エーカー（約1,92 ha）の島である。 マンハッタン島の南約800ヤードに位置し、ブルックリンから東は幅400ヤードのバターミルク水路で隔てられている。
ニューヨーク港に位置するエリス島は、1892年から1954年まで、1200万人以上の移民を処理し、アメリカ合衆国最高の移民ステーションとして機能した。 現在は国立博物館となり、アメリカン・ドリームの象徴として、来館者の展示、家族歴の記録、修復された病院見学などが行われている。 自由の女神国定記念物の一部となっている。

Bruce met us near bowling green and told us about the history of that area before we headed to the Staten Island ferry. He led us to good seats and we learned the history of what we were seeing the whole ferry ride. We got off on Staten Island and enjoyed a slice of pizza. Bruce was friendly and informative and customized the tour to us.

we really enjoyed this tour as we got to see different parts of New York City and learn a little bit more of the history. The ferry rides were nice to get around and see the different burroughs of New York City. Our tour guide Nancy was excellent and very knowledgeable.
