Alessandro was very detailed with his local knowledge of the Trastevere area. We got to experience some great food at places we would have never found and some local drinks we would never have thought to try! He was very polite and well organized, making sure we had seating and we felt very relaxed in his company. Highly recommended!!

We had an incredibly fun and delicious food tour with Marco! Marco could tell a lot about the area and you immediately noticed how much enthusiasm and love he has for the neighborhood. Besides the delicious food, we also learned a lot about the architecture and history of the area. During the tour, we visited several beautiful and authentic family businesses. The food was incredibly delicious everywhere, and it was the personal stories and local atmosphere that made the tour extra special. We really enjoyed this tour and would without a doubt book another tour with Marco. Absolutely recommended!

Book this! Alessandro was great, knowledgeable and selected classic food options for our small group of 3. It was great to hear about Travestere from a local, and a family run business. Maybe it was because we were a small group… but we were very full by the end!! I didn’t even eat dinner lol it was hot out so we got gelato first, then stopped for local cheese & meats & wine (the Parmesan was AMAZING), then suppli (classic), pizza (3 kinds- my favorite was potato pizza) and last but not least, some wonderful tiramisu. What a fabulous food tour, book it! You won’t be sorry. Thank you Alessandro!

We had a wonderful evening evening food tour with Alessandro through the quaint Trastevere neighborhood. Alessandro was very knowledgeable in the area about the food and drink scene, as he was born and raised here. The food was delicious, and he gave us a brief history of each type of food that we enjoyed as we strolled through the neighborhood! He was engaging and kept our kids interest as well as giving a bit of local history about the streets and churches. Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience Roman street food with a real insider!

My tour turned out to be an incredible time because of my guide- Alessandro- who was extremely knowledgeable and gave so many interesting facts about the history of Trastevere along with my food tour. It was a personalized experience and Alessandro went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best time possible!
