We had an extremely disappointing experience with Vast Group for our Mt Buller day trip. The driver never showed up, and there was absolutely no communication whatsoever regarding any cancellation or delay. We were left waiting in the freezing Melbourne weather for over two hours, trying to figure out what was going on. To make matters worse, we attempted to call the contact number provided 19 times and did not receive a single response. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service is completely unacceptable. A simple message or update would have made a huge difference, but we were left stranded and frustrated. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. Very disappointed with the entire experience.

We are family of 5 with 3 adult children. We travelled with the 24 occupants white van which is okay (driver named Tony); a small group consisting of international holidaymakers. 6 Aug, it was raining when we reached the parking area 2. The Mt Buller resort was okay and it was snowing for a few moments which was great and captured on camera in that specific moments. We bought the Mt Buller sightseeing chairlifts ticket for 5pax and it drizzles a bit when we are riding it to the Northside Express station up on the mountain. The snow there was thick, and fantastic , my children had a blast there!... The only obstacles is the condition of the weather drizzling (raining) here and there which hindered the sightseeing through the village. It was misty and foggy, very cold if you are soaking wet. We missed the village walk / viewing, if possible will come again and hope with better weather conditions!! I fully recommended this.

Had a good experience, driver was friendly and knowledgeable, but please provide allocated seats as people who were travelling together were sitting in separate window seats, we as a couple had to seat in separate seats.

Good value for money and efficient service to go in day trip to Mt Buller, felt safe and valued although if you don’t skit you waster 2 hours at ski hire maybe they should offer alterntive for non skiers

Our recent trip to Mt Buller began with a significant delay. The driver arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes late, leaving us to wait in the cold for almost an hour before our repeated phone calls were answered and we received an update. The company did offer an apology and a partial refund, which was appreciated. However, this incident significantly impacted our day. I had planned for five hours of skiing and purchased my lift ticket accordingly, but due to the delay, I only managed four hours on the mountain, with only three hours of actual skiing. Had I known this, I would have opted for the afternoon pass, which is half the price of the full-day pass. Regarding the transportation itself, the bus was a small and an older model, not one of the newer, fancier coaches, which I understood given the slightly affordable fare. On a positive note, the driver was very pleasant, highly apologetic, and transparent about the situation.

Had an amazing time at Mt Buller! Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I was a bit skeptical at first because the tour price was cheaper than others, but it turned out to be so worth it! The transport arrived right on time, and we got to the mountain with no delays. The schedule was well-planned, so we had plenty of time to enjoy the snow, take photos, and explore. Big thanks to Evan, our guide. Highly recommend this tour – such a great day! ❄️😊⛷️

I really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended for tourists visiting Melbourne. We just hired our gears.

AVOID! If you are reading this, I would highly recommend you against booking a trip with this company. I had booked a day trip to Mt Buller, waited at the pick up point they informed from 5AM, and they never showed up (pick-up time was 5:20). We were stranded, standing for over 40 minutes in the cold and dark and they never messaged or informed us of any changes or cancellations before we concluded that they were never going to show up. We tried calling the number attached to the booking and the person who answered gave us excuses that we have an international number hence they could not reach us--all while sounding sleepy and unapologetic about leaving us stranded. This does not make sense as we have emails too (we checked our junk mail--nothing there). There were no other ways to get to Mt. Buller as other coaches would leave around a similar time. We ended up wasting our lift passes and rental bookings because of this highly unprofessional company. We suffered a loss of $300. For your sake, just book with one of the many other companies offering the same service. Don't ruin your holiday.

Had a great day on the mountain today! Our driver was very experienced, and the road trip to the summit was smooth and relaxing. He suggested an early start to avoid the mountain crowd. Highly recommend!

Clear instructions provided before the trip. Pick up was on time and the journey was smooth throughout. Would recommend!
