I loved this tour! Ami was our guide and she taught us so much about the deer, Nara history, the temples and how they were constructed. She was very attentive, answered our questions, had pics to help us see how the temples looked when they were originally standing. Highly recommend!
Sho was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. Sho arrived at our hotel promptly and was more than prepared to show us Nara. Sho provided great insight about Japanese history and the complexities of what Japan was and what Japan has become. As we maneuvered the streets of Nara, Sho provided us with great advice about places to revisit as well as great places to eat. Highly recommend!
We had a really great day with Ami, our guide, and Noa, our driver. I highly recommend this tour. We do a lot of these types of tours and this was one of the best. Ami was so personal and knowledgeable. She also took great care of us all day and saw places you might not see on a regular tour and even took us to a house restaurant for an authentic experience. Great food there. We loved seeing all the deer and the shrines and got a great mountaintop view of Nara along with more deer as we ended our day. You must do this tour. It is well worth it.
