チェンマイ ブア トン スティッキー ウォーターフォール 半日ツアー

Really nice experience, I was alone, 55 years old and I found it really fun. A tip: for 30 baht you can drop off your things, worth doing to be able to change. For the guide I gave a low rating because the excursion is done solo, but it was specified on the app. A must-do.

This is just a taxi ride to the waterfall location and back again. Simple and all you need. Driver was polite and helpful. The pickup location isn't "obvious" but a minivan pulled up at the side of the road at exactly the advertised time. Then I just approached the driver and then it was obvious!

This tour felt really special because the Bua Tong Sticky Waterfalls is not near the city center so it does require a bit of driving. The route was scenic - as you can see rice paddy fields and even temples/Buddha statues in the mountains. Ton was my guide and he was very charming and helpful in taking some photos and videos while I tried to navigate the rocks climbing up. It was such a unique experience being able to climb up a waterfall due to the calcium deposits. Ton is such an expert climber that he doesn't even need the ropes. Some parts are slippery and he warned me about those spots but generally if you are a hiker or even amateur, you can do this hike as long as you are careful. We stopped at a local noodle place for lunch after also which was lovely.

Bring a swimsuit, water shoes, and a smartphone cover. Have fun climbing a stream from the bottom to the top with the help of ropes

It is a very nice space to walk or rest in addition to enjoying the experience of the waterfall. It seemed like the guide was in a hurry, and he did not give us free time to relax.

The waterfalls are an amazing experience, would fully recommend. It's just a driver with this, not a guide, but didnt need a guide, just follow all the others

I had a wonderful experience on this tour and would highly recommend it. The guide was punctual and attentive, which was fantastic although there was a language barrier which sometimes caused confusion. The only real downside for this tour is that it’s a very long drive from Central Chiang Mai for an experience that will take you anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour and a half. The waterfall itself is absolutely stunning and the water is lovely but the location is extremely crowded which can present some challenges.

The Sticky Falls were a cool thing to see. It was like nothing I’d ever seen before. My disappointment was the lack of “guiding” the guides did. The only thing they said was “be back at x time.” For us, x time was 55 minutes. The was no talking about where we were going, no recommendations about things to be sure to see, no asking about anything. The experience is something I’m glad I got to experience, but I think with a little more from the guides would’ve really made it great. For what was provided, it felt overpriced I’m sorry to say.

This was a wonderful experience! I enjoyed climbing the sticky waterfall with my children, and although some parts of the waterfall were a little challenging to climb if you are not fit, it is definitely still doable and worth it. Loved the experience and highly recommend! 10/10 ❤️

Quite a fun experience. Something different to do during your vacation in Thailand! Our guide was super nice, he took a ton of photos of us during the tour and they were very friendly. They picked us up at the hotel before going on the excursion. The only thing, although it can be done barefoot, it would be better to wear water shoes for certain parts, although it is not the end of the world if you do not wear them. Just to be more comfortable.
