Happy House Down Under Our 5 and 7 year olds adore it but I thought that the designers had a lot of flaws with their creation.   A lot of their props were too high for the kids to touch and hang onto for photos. Things needed to be lower down for them to reach to make the photos look more effective. At the end of the day these places are mostly for kids.   Totally over priced and you are only in there for a good 10mins.

So much fun for the whole family! We had an absolute blast at House Down Under on the Gold Coast. We visited as a family of four with two kids aged 10 and 7, and it was one of those activities where everyone was laughing the whole time. The experience itself is hilarious and surprisingly disorienting in the best way — lots of silly moments and great photo opportunities. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were super friendly, welcoming, and great with the kids, which made the whole experience even better and more relaxed. Practical tips for families: • Wear closed, comfortable shoes — you’ll feel more stable. • Go in with an open mind and sense of humour; the fun comes from just embracing the weirdness. • Let the kids explore and pose — it’s a fantastic spot for memorable photos. • If you’re prone to dizziness, take it slow and follow the staff’s guidance (they’re very helpful). Pre-booking is highly recommended and you’ve got to select a time slot at the time of booking. Overall, this was great value, unique, and perfect for families looking for something different to do on the Gold Coast. Highly recommend — we’re still laughing about it!

Had an interesting and wonderful experience. Staffs were really friendly and helpful. They will teach you how to click pictures, if you are not camera friendly person like me.

This will keep everyone E amused for about 15 to 30.min $19 for adults ,One house 2 floors and lots of photo ops . It's fun and like I said will keep U amused for up to half an hr. Try taking videos as well. We took some pics and they can be amusing. It's clever. Park in the purple section at shopping centre it's right next to it outside yellow upside down house.

It was a family friendly experience. Staff were very helpful and kind. It was lots of fun filled with joy and laughter. Definitely recommend!

This experience was quite different and worth the time spent taking pictures. The staff were helpful, offering tips and tricks for capturing great photos (you do need to ask for them). Our only disappointment was discovering that each venue only had one building, rather than multiple ones as we had expected.

The Upside Down House was an interesting concept, but overall, it felt a bit underwhelming. It’s just okay for the price, though honestly, still feels a bit overpriced for what you get. The experience might be more enjoyable if you're over 6 feet tall—most of the setup seems better suited for taller visitors. It's a quick stop with some fun photo ops, but not something I'd go out of my way for.

The upside down house was well promoted around the Gold Coast enough to pique our interest in trying it out over the established tourist attractions in Cavill Ave. Although the location in Pacific Fair shopping centre is handy, its position at the back of the carpark to catch attention from the road was a little off but we still keen to check it out. For two adults and one 7yr old child, the admission price was pretty steep at over $50, especially for just a few selfies and feeling nauseous due to the house being slightly tilted off balance. Like a previous review, I agree the two staff were very disinterested, preferred to chat amongst themselves in the staff room and didn't offer any help to set up any shots or make the experience any better. We also struggled to know how to make the best shots, made even harder for children. We pretty much walked into the first room, said wow look at all the stuff stuck to the ceiling, attempted a few lousy photos, walked upstairs to do the same, got really bored and left fairly disappointed and swindled by another tourist trap. Luckily we had the house to ourselves and there wasn't any queues during our mid-week visit as I can't imagine getting any value with others in the background of your shots.

Overpriced and crap! All of the better poses are for adults. I had no idea how to take the pictures and there was minimal help from staff. Not everyone is tech savvy or can process how to take the pictures or pose. Over 60 bucks for 1 adult and 3 young children. 2 staff members just sitting in the office. It should be half the price, especially for 15 minutes and for kids.
