Langa was vibrant and full of life. At the museum we spent time reading personal stories and looking at the big "memory cloth" where ex-residents wrote messages. Our guide had perfect timing with his jokes. Great balance of fun and history.

Very special tour and very amazing pure hearted guides. They really put effort in explaining history and giving energy. Truly a nice experience! Township Langa , six museum area and Bo-kaap.

It is very educational. We were picked up on time at our hotel. First stop BoKaap-Sefu explained the development of the area, discussed the Malay slaves and their culture. Second stop-Langa, a large township (aka shantytown) in Cape Town. The hour walking tour was led a local.guide who grew up and lives in Langa. His knowledge of its history and love for the community brought something to our experience. Last stop District 6 Museum. The Museum, in a former Methodist church, documents the history of District 6 (which was a multi-racisl community near Capr Town's CBD. It's a myst visit if you want to learn about soartheid.
