He was incredibly punctual for all the pick-ups and drop-offs, which made the logistics completely stress-free. What really set this tour apart was his extensive knowledge; he provided so much deep insight into Port Arthur and all the different attractions around Hobart. On top of that, Pascal has a fantastic sense of humor that kept the entire journey lively, engaging, and never boring. It was a thoroughly satisfying and enriching experience. I had a brilliant experience with Tassie Tours on their Port Arthur day tour. Our driver-guide, Pascale, was outstanding – informative, friendly and attentive to the needs of everyone in the group. The tour started promptly on time and ran seamlessly throughout the day, with excellent organisation and timing at every stop. The commentary provided along the journey was exceptional and really helped bring Tasmania's history, culture and landscapes to life. I particularly enjoyed the stop at the Lavender Farm, which was a wonderful addition to the day and a great opportunity to experience another side of Tasmania. Port Arthur itself was confronting, beautiful and deeply moving. It is a place that everyone visiting Tasmania should experience, and having the time to explore and reflect made it even more memorable. Although this is a full-day tour, it never felt tiring as the day is thoughtfully broken up with several interesting stops and locations along the way. The pace was comfortable and well suited to all ages and interests. I would highly recommend Tassie Tours to anyone visiting Tasmania – whether you're travelling as a family, a couple or a solo traveller like me. It was a fantastic day from start to finish and one of the highlights of my trip.

Great day at Port Arthur. Recommend paying an extra $10 on arrival to get an historical perspective before exploring it, as tour operator drops you off and picks up. It takes a long time to get around and we were a little rushed, also fitting in the cruise before a visit to the remarkable cave afterwards. Would have liked a bit more commentary on the cave, chocolate factory and lavender farm. Overall an enjoyable day.

Our trip to Port Authur yesterday was excellent. Our tour operator was Sky and she was great, very knowledgeable and professional. She also created a quiet bus ride both there and back by only speaking when she had something very worthwhile and knowledgeable to say. The bus was clean and not crowded. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Absolutely fabulous day. Informative Guide who was very interactive with our small group. Port Arthur was amazing … beautifully kept heritage site. Inclement weather added to the moody vibe of the day. We loved it .

The tour itself was enjoyable, with some great stops before and after visiting Port Arthur. However, the bus was quite old and run down, which was disappointing for the price paid. I was also expecting commentary throughout the journey, along with a more modern and comfortable coach experience.

Nathan is friendly, punctual and helpful. We had a very enjoyable day.

Really enjoyed the tour with Rob. His enthusiasm for all the places and sights that he was showing us made the entire experience more meaningful and a delight. All the sights are so well maintained and it's quite simple for first timers like us to move around them. Our tour guides explanation made it so much easier. First the time frame of 9:30am-5:30pm was perfect. Really like the two short stops at the chocolate and lavender stores. We traveled with Rob, who is just great. his commentary along the way showed how knowledgeable he is of the area. I really liked when we got to Port Arthur that Rob took the time to walk the group in and in front of the penitentiary building he gave us some tips including where he thought would be the best starting spot.He answered all questions and genuinely wanted everyone to enjoy their time there. If you have the opportunity to leave Port Arthur, I little bit early and go see the Remarkable caves …do it. The views of Maingot bay and the cave are beautiful.
