Fantastic story telling, eerie, and wonderfully contemplative tour! Declan does great at sharing his research and tons of information while also getting everyone in the group to think like a detective about the cases. I loved the participation and in depth look on stories I had not heard of before as well as some iconic ones. It is obvious the information gathering took years of research and you get to hear about some of it in one night. Fascinating tour highly recommend!

Suspense and intrigue in London town!
Declan was a great guide - super knowledgeable and a great storyteller - plenty of suspense and intrigue! He also made sure the tour was interactive, giving us all the chance to put our detective skills the test, with varying degrees of success! Something I wasn't expecting was the insight into London, wandering streets I would never normally have reason to visit and seeing some historical gems I was previously totally unaware of.

Excellent
This was an amazing tour and the guide was really knowledgeable and engaging. Got to see some different parts of London and how they related to different killers - but the history was wider. Guide was really good and we will buy his book!!

Storytelling and excellent knowledge

A BLOODY great time!
I will start with the boring stuff: the directions to the start point of our tour were clear and we had no trouble finding Declan outside Barbican underground station.
From the get go I knew Declan was the kind of tour guide I love; funny, enthusiastic and very passionate to share his extensive knowledge. We were immediately drawn into the dark and disturbing world of this part of London. I won’t spoil anything because I would recommend this walking tour to everyone but we took in some iconic sites that are infamous for their lurid and disturbing history.
Declan was an absolute joy. He has such enthusiasm and genuine eagerness to teach and talk about truly fascinating events in history. In a world where “true crime” can come across as sensationalist, he was factual and entertaining without being ghoulish. Declan knows his stuff, he knows it really well. He is a natural born story teller and I will definitely be buying his book. I can’t wait to read anything else he publishes too. He engaged with us and put some puzzling and brain scratching questions to our group and honestly made us all think. It was excellent.
We had a great time. We saw parts of London like The Old Bailey that I had never seen before. I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough. Think you know the crimes and murderers of London? Think again……
