Great tour! John did a wonderful job. He was timely, friendly, and very knowledgeable. This was our favorite excursion of our trip.

Not a good experience really. To start, we had to call 3 times to find our drive who was actually 30 minutes late. Did not get out of the car to let us in and his car was filthy. As a tour guide, I would expect him to take us to the relevant landmarks, but he asked us what we want to see? He swore frequently and continued to talk about himself. This was not a very pleasant trip for two ladies in their late 60s....Not really the experience that we were hoping.

Even though our driver spoke English, he was difficult to understand and spoke so softly we couldn’t hear him in the back seat. We just came from Athens, Santorini, Mykonos and Ephesus Turkey and all of our tours were outstanding. Other than the Blue Grotto we were not blown away by anything else we saw here. Not sure if it was the uninteresting driver or the so so sites he showed us.

Peter, our driver/guide was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, communicative, and friendly. He went out of his way to give us recommendations and make arrangements for other things we planned to do in Valletta. It truly was a customizable itinerary, as we made decisions about what to see and do along the way.

Jonathan picked me up promptly at 8am and it was a wonderful non stop 4 hrs! I learned so much about Malta. Jonathan was engaging, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Malta is amazing with a rich and diverse history. Well worth it!

This tour was a must! I had been to Malta before but going the Blue Grotto was a highlight. It was so beautiful and we got to see a different part of the island I would have loved to have gone swimming with the locals but I didn't have my swim suite with me. I would definitely recommend the tour though.

This is not a private half a day tour. This is literally just a private driver. He just drives you to the site and you have to look at everything on your own. The driver had a car with barely any AC amd it was 45 degrees outside. For the amount we paid it wasmt worth it at all.

Our guide, Matt, was prompt, communicated extremely well, tailored our visit to exactly what we wanted & met our timelines. Matt exceeded our expectations ! I would HIGHLY recommend Matt & his team. Enjoy Malta !!

We recently booked a private van tour of Malta. We knew we would have seniors with us, and that’s why we booked a tour where we could have flexibility and control of the itinerary. When we arrived to the time and place we’d set for meeting, the tour van was nowhere to be found. We had to call and coordinate with the central office, and started the tour late. First stop: We stopped in the market for a few minutes, enjoyable but unremarkable. Second stop: We then proceeded to the Blue Grotto. The view is indeed spectacular. We couldn’t go down to a boat because of seniors mobility issues (88, 85, 84 and 81). The next stop was Mdina. We asked if there would be a place for the seniors to wait, like a restaurant, while we walked in Mdina. Our tour guide said there would be a bench in the sun, that there were no restrooms or restaurants in Mdina. She said that the only available bathroom would be the one in the outlook for the blue grotto. So, without another option, the seniors went down a ramp to go to the bathroom and had extreme difficulty coming back up. We asked if they could stay in the van while we walked around for an hour in Mdina. She said she couldn’t leave the AC on while they were inside because: “running AC would be a waste of diesel”. We asked if she could take them back to the port and then be back to pick us up in 1h, since the round trip drive would only be 50 minutes. She said she couldn’t do it. We decided to go anyway. We got to Mdina, and surprise! There was plenty of shade, plenty of restaurants and plenty of benches in the shade. Our tour guide was completely unknowledgeable. The answers to our questions were met with one sentence answers. She didn’t know any facts, history, or stories about Malta. She did mention the runway of the airport was above us in a tunnel. When we got to the blue grotto she said, and I’m not exaggerating: “when you board the boat, there will be a view of the sea”. When I asked about the history of Malta, silence. Then, after we got we back from the market, she read basic facts from Wikipedia out loud. Throughout the whole tour, the guide was constantly on the phone while driving. The only good thing I can say is that she drove and didn’t crash.
