We were so excited to book a photo shoot while we were visiting England. We booked it online the same night as the experience was to take place and followed the directions to the meeting place which was the ticket office in front of the London Eye. We got there ten minutes early and waited and no one appeared for our experience. We walked around the entire area and there was no one resembling a photographer there. We then called the phone number provided in the listing, texted it, used WhatsApp, as well as emailed the address provided in the booking. No one answered or replied using any of these mediums. We then called Viator customer service who then also attempted to call them, and they too had no luck reaching them. We had been in the area for at least 20-30 minutes by now. I went through a series of questions with Buator customer service whip assured me we should be able to get a refund of our $335 under the circumstances of paying for this experience and having the photographer not show and then too not being able to reach them. Incredibly, a few days later, I received a message from Viator saying our refund request was denied because the company claimed they were waiting for us and that we never showed up at the meeting point. We are now forced to file a chargeback with our credit card company. The whole experience was incredibly disappointing. Surely an apology from this provider with an explanation would have made me change this review, but I doubt the provider ever came to the meeting area because we were there 20-30 minutes. And why would they also not answer the phone? Also incredibly disappointing that Viator wouldn’t give us our money back after this terrible experience.
