We had a great day with our guide, Tim. We felt totally comfortable and safe. This was our first via ferrata. It did not disappoint.

The climb was great. Beautiful views, not difficult, and it was nice for getting peoples' hands on rocks as an intro to climbing, and an easy safe not scary way to get people in that situation. One of our 6 did get nauseous from her fear of heights at one point, and had to turn back, and the guides were great in helping her out with that. Otherwise, the guides and all the staff was great, too.

Had a great time exploring the cliffs of Squaw valley! Great weather and excellent guide Tristan! Thank you so much for a very special day!

So much fun with the guide Isaac. He did a great job making everyone feel comfortable and explaining the process. Even took photos for us on the places where it was hard to pull out my camera. Even got a nice beer after from a local brewery!

Mountain climbing at its safest but also fun and challenging. The course, from its holds and views and even monkey bridges were a blast, even if you're someone who is looking to get out of their comfort zone. Tim was a great guide — and basically a sherpa when it came to climbing the trail. Full recommend as a half day experience when visiting the Tahoe area.

Tahoe Via Ferrata with Alpenglow Expeditions was incredible! If you can have Mike as your guide, request him and ask him about his summit to Everest! The 4-hour via ferrata is the way to go. This hike up the mountain being hooked to cables is an awesome adventure trip. Sunny made everything easy to schedule and they take you up to the start on a beast of a terrain vehicle. You won’t regret doing this, and at Tahoe, you get incredible views! Thanks Mike and Alpenglow for a wonderful trip!!

Highly recommend this experience! I am moderately fit, and slightly scared of heights, but it was amazing! Very safe, very thrilling, and you will feel really good when you complete it. Daryl was an amazing guide, he kept it safe and fun! If you're interested but apprehensive, do it! You won't regret it!

It was so much fun. Great tour guide, Amy Olson, loved to share her knowledge of the mountain and area. The views are amazing and the adventure level is great. So much fun to be on the face of the Palisades climbing. Great for a wide range of ages and experience

We went on the 3 hour tour for my daughter’s 9th birthday and had so much fun! Our guide Jake was fantastic! He kept us safe and ensured we got the most out of our time. After skiing at Squaw for over 20 years the summertime perspective from Tram Face is second to none. We’ll be going back again for the 4 hour tour!

Fun trip hanging on the side of a mountain. Clipping onto the cable kept my focus so I was rarely aware of how high up we were. Beautiful views of the Palisades resort area. Guide, Alex, was very personable and knowledgeable. Made sure we were safe at all times. I did a similar Via Ferrata in Breckenridge last year. That experience included several cable bridges, some zip lines, and limited rappelling. Even though the one in Colorado had a bit more variety I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this outing. Alpenglow Expeditions is a quality outfitter! You won’t be sorry if you choose them.
