まずは、モロッコの職人技の粋を集めた、のどかな庭園、カラフルなタイル細工、彫刻が施された木の天井で知られる19世紀の邸宅、バイーア宮殿から。 王室のハーレムを収容するために拡張され、個人の家であると同時に政治権力の象徴でもあった。
メッラ（Mellah）へと続きます。かつては活気に満ちたユダヤ人街でしたが、今は静かな路地、スパイスショップ、伝統的なバルコニーが迷路のように入り組んでいます。
アルモハッド建築の印象的な12世紀のバブ・アグナウ門を通り抜けます。
その後、いくつかの主要な遺跡を通り過ぎます。王宮は、今でもモロッコ王の公邸です。
次に、ミナレットがスカイラインを支配し、セビリアのジラルダの塔のモデルとなったクートゥビア・モスクへ。

Brahim was an excellent guide and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We learned so much about Moroccan history, culture and daily life. Bahia Palace was beautiful and hearing the stories behind it made it even more interesting.
