This was such a wonderful experience. Morrie was an incredible guide, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the area. We had the chance to swim and explore hidden spots around Portofino and San Fruttuoso that we simply wouldn't have accessed by ourselves. The four-hour tour was the perfect length, never rushed but packed with memorable moments. It was a very special morning and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Mauricio was amazing! Very knowledgeable. One of best excursions I’ve had. I would do it again and again!!!!
To be honest it was a highlight of our Italy Cruise we booked it independently from a cruise ship and we couldn't be happier our captain was incredible
Lorenzo provided an informative and entertaining tour of the area. There were lots of stories, some rooted in truth and some in legend and tales. The weather was fantastic for mid September and the sea temperatures were ‘perfetto’ for jumping off the zodiac boat. We heard stories about celebrity summer homes, ancient buildings, and the inlet towns. The Christ of the Abyss statue was a sad story and beautiful dedication to those lost at sea. Lorenzo was also genuinely concerned and checked in on a couple people with sea sickness. The wind made the boat ride a little choppy but he managed it with ease.

This boat trip is NOT worth your money! The boat is very small so you can feel every single wave so if the water is choppy be prepared to feel sick. Many of us felt sick the entire boat ride. Also because of the storm, the ocean was full of debris so you could not see the bottom of the ocean when we stopped to swim. One of the reasons we booked this trip was to be able to swim in crystal clear water. The company should have given us the option of rebooking on another day if we wanted to so we could have taken full advantage for what we paid for or at least warned us prior to getting on the boat that it wasn’t going to be a pleasant boat ride. Also, due to the waves in the water, it was not safe at all nor did we feel safe. Save your money. I’m sure there are way better boat trips to take in the area.
This was the highlight of our holiday. Our guide was knowledgeable and attentive to everyone. Our son isn’t a confident swimmer so he stayed on the boat for the swim stops, but our lovely guide chatted with him and helped him feed fish and let him steer the boat at one point so he was still made to feel very special. Not a complaint, but a suggestion. There were life jackets on-board, I think it should be policy that at least children are made to wear these throughout.
Perfect 4-hour tour! Guide was informative and we had ample time to shop in Portofino and swim in the Mediterranean. I highly recommend this excursion.
Very Disappointing!! We as a family of 5 felt very let down by this trip, predominantly as a result of what can only be described as a passively aggressive and disinterested Captain. The itinerary and beautiful surroundings are a must but we think the company need to think about the attitude of the staff which fell very much below expectations and ruined an expensive experience for us. From the outset we were not offered an opportunity to sit together as a family due to insufficient seats resulting in us cramming 4 people into 3 seats, which the captain just shrugged at! After disembarking in portofino we returned to different seats to ensure a seat each which left a different passenger without a seat, he offered her his own seat, which differed from how we were treated ! Later he asked whether we would prefer to swim or visit somewhere else, we said swim to which he said, ‘well there are other people on this boat’ despite him directly asking us! He spent the majority of the trip on his phone rather than engaging his customers, an example being when we arrived in Camogli, the extent of his information was ‘This is Comogli’ and then immediately returned to phone despite their being plenty to talk about in Camogli. Potentially amazing trip, ruined by overbooking and disinterested captain.
Group was easy to work with and we met them at the cruise port. Able to snorkel in multiple places and they were very accomodating.
