The driver was entertaining and the trip ran smoothly. He brought good snacks and there were proper bathroom breaks.
We had an amazing experience, exploring the Columbia Icefields with our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. He shared fascinating information about the history, wildlife scenery, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, included throughout the tour. The breathtaking views and memorable stops made this one of the highlights of our trip. The scenery was amazing. A great way to see all the sites if time limited. Our guide Sam was friendly, energetic and enthusiastic. It’s a long day of driving but well worth it. We even saw three grizzly bears!!

It was an amazing experience with our tour guide, William! He was the best! A big surprise was seeing wildlife along the way- grizzly bear, black bear, elk, and long horn sheep!

Chris Lam provided knowledgeable information as the tour progressed on the way to the Icefield. There were a number of stops on the way back. The stops provided an excellent chance to get beautiful pictures of the landscape.
Amazing tour. Remarkable experience! Standing atop ancient ice makes you feel surreal. Great admiration to the nature. Glad that we joined tours organised by Banff Journey. Our guide did his best to make sure we had a wonderful time. He even prepared ice grips for us. Didn’t expect that. He was so helpful and attentive!! And then we saw many tourists from other tours kept slipping on the ice and we felt sorry for them. Highly recommend this trip and their guides. Don’t miss this point if you come to Banff!!
