In my opinion this was a waste of 50 minutes of my life. I was expecting a ‘show’ as advertised, where I would learn about the dervishes, the meaning behind their dance, the symbolism etc etc.
We were ushered into a room, instructed to be silent (no photography or videos) and sat through 50 minutes of a religious ceremony. Nothing in English or any explanation of what was going on at all. Photographs were allowed at the end of the ceremony but you had to be quick as it was one quick whirl and they were straight out the door.
The most exciting part for me was the journey there, in a minibus through the very narrow streets of Goreme and the altercations between our driver and others.
My advise is not to bother!

The ceremony, alhamdulillah, is around one hour,. very peaceful, mashallah, with beautiful music, lovely singing, and of course, the dervish dancing, subhanallah. My driver was perfect! Came right on time, very kind man, good talk, and got me to the place smoothly so I didn’t miss anything! 💖

Beautiful Experience
The driver was very friendly and the show was incredible. Unlike anything I have ever seen before. Watching people even be moved to tears Watching was moving. The show was beautiful.

Unforgettable Cultural Experience with Friends
We went as a group of friends and were blown away by the Traditional Dervish Dance show. The dancers were mesmerizing, and the whole experience was incredibly immersive. The traditional drink (sherbet) was fantastic, and we appreciated the attentive service. A perfect way to spend an evening in Cappadocia!

Magical Family Night
Our family booked the Dervish Dance show, and it was a magical experience for all of us. The kids were fascinated by the whirling dervishes, and we all learned so much about the culture. It's a must-do for families visiting Cappadocia.

A Mesmerizing Evening for Two
We booked the traditional dervish dance show through this agency and had a wonderful time. The performance was incredibly moving, and the ambiance added to the experience. We felt the spirituality and tradition behind every movement. The hospitality was excellent, and the dinner was a delightful surprise.
