We started our tour by getting picked up by our lovely tour Guide John. We drove us to the helio complex and shared many interesting information about Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the history of helio complex and its current usage and many more with us along the way. Additionally, he stopped at interesting sight seeing spots and showed us his favorite Samsa spot where he bought us Samsa ❤️! After our visit at the helio complex we stopped by a lovely wine yard where we tried excellent uzbekian wine and had a tasty lunch before heading back to the hotel. John made our trip interesting, unique and fun! He speaks excellent English and is very nice and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend booking a tour with him!

The furnace is amazing and worth the trip, John is a great guy. Also, lunch is at a very typical place and it is delicious

Khikmatilloh / Jon was a great host and flexible to change parts of the tour around to give a more personalised experience. The solar furnace was amazing too! Highly recommended

We had a memorable day with Khikmatillo, call him John, going to the Sun Institute. We asked him if we could rather go wine tasting instead of the forest and he booked it for us. (by the way the wine was quite good). He was extremely helpful, his English was perfect and allowed us to better understand the fascinating Uzbek culture.

I was impressed by my tour guide John, who speaks excellent English. He is passionate and takes good care of his clients. The tour was equally amazing - highly recommended!

If you want something totally different to the usual tours this is a must! To see the technology they used was fantastic and almost James Bond like. John was brilliant talking me through all the facts about the site and how it worked. The national park was beautiful but the weather was inclement so I decided to get out before getting lost. On the way home we stopped for a traditional Kazakh meal in a yurt which was very nice Don’t miss out on this trip!

Truly a soviet era marvel. It's a must visit for all those who visit Uzbekistan. One needs to atleast spend 2 - 3 hours to appreciate the beauty. Try visiting in winter, it's like a sci-fi movie.

John was very friendly and chatty. A safe driver. The helio complex was amazing for someone interested in science. We also went to a local nature reserve and did a small walk. I really enjoyed the drive which took us through small villages.

The helio complex is interesting. The eco park provided a decent 60-90 minutes walk. The driver was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble, including finding me a veggie lunch.
