Our tour guide Tristan was extremely knowledgeable and organized. He guided us seamlessly through the museum, choosing a chronological order to his tour. Not only did he explain the art he chose to highlight, but he provided historical content for his selections. While many people tour the museum choosing only to visit the impressionist works of art, he gave us a through museum tour.

Thank you, William! We're so glad Tristan's chronological approach gave such a clear, seamless thread through the visit. We always tell guests that the only real way to appreciate just how radical and daring the Impressionists were is to understand what came before them, and then to see how they went on to shape everything that followed. It's exactly that fuller context that Tristan gave you, and it's what turns a visit focused on one movement into a genuinely rich understanding of the whole story. We'll be sure to pass this along to him and we hope you had a fantastic time here in Paris!

Anthony is Great
There were six of us in our group. Anthony was our guide, and he was informative and entertaining. He gave us his viewpoint on the exhibits, which I found enlightening.

Thank you Takashi! Anthony's personal perspective on the works is one of the things that makes a tour with him so special — it goes so much deeper than just facts and dates. We're so glad it resonated with your group. He'll be delighted to hear this!

Thank you Karen! Inspirational is such a wonderful word to use about a museum visit and we love that Anthony made the d'Orsay feel exactly that. Leaving with great memories and a deeper love of Impressionism is everything we hope for. He'll be so touched to read this — as are we!

Connected the dots; learned a ton; gave great historical context
Sophie was a great tour guide. Her knowledge of art was profound. I loved how she started slowly providing history and context finishing with the Impressionist masterpieces. Because of her stories and background provided, she was able to point out things about the famous pieces that made instant sense. It gave me a fresh look at pieces I have seen in my past.

Skip the time, learn a lot
We arrived early for our tour as requested. Alas, we still waited beyond our entry time to enter the building. Being part of a tour was essential. Otherwise, the line to get it would have take forever. Our guide was knowledgable but was not particularly engaging. She didn't seem passionate or enthusiastic about the museum, the history or the art. I am still glad we had a guide to help us learn more about the artwork we were viewing. I just wish she had been more passionate and more personable.

We have not been able to identify your booking, we'd be grateful if you could contact us on contact@memories-france.travel so we can see who your guide was.
