This was so much fun!! The show was in English, and the sumo wrestlers were absolutely lovable. We loved the way they include the audience and keep everyone engaged. We laughed so hard, and this was a definite highlight of our 3-week trip to South Korea & Japan.
We were pleasantly surprised of how good the food was. Our daughter is a picky eater, so we appreciated that they had other menu options that were kid-friendly. They sent everyone home with souvenirs and a printed group photo.
The theater was a 10-minute walk from the subway station, and it was really easy to find.
I know that $100+ a ticket may seem steep, but it’s totally worth it!

OMG - What a fantastic lunchtime Sumo Experience
From the moment we arrived, we were well looked after, from designated seating, drinks ordering was via a QR code and they arrived super fast - we needed them due to all the cheering, booing and general hollering that accompanied the show. The lunch provided was excellent and plentyful with easy ordering should you wish of more food anytime the show was on.
The show itself was well planned out, with plenty of explanations, Pitting our 2 wrestlers against each other, the bouts were fascinating to watch, the customs and protocols coming to life before our eyes. Customer participation was hilarious, grown men thinking they could out push a pro... LOL .
The Geisha dance was beautiful.
My first time in Japan, and this was day 1. What a brilliant introduction to Japan and to Sumo. As we left we were given a private group photo ( 2 actually, one each) some stickers and 2 wonderful banners, one of which now hangs in my office. A reminder of a awesome a fun, joy filled experience.

Sumo history and life in a very fun atmosphere
The show was very informative and entertaining. We learned all about the real world and history of Sumo in an environment of theatre. We laughed hugely! The Geisha was a lovely bonus.

Sumo slapstick and all you can eat hot pot
Fantastic logistics, food was good and plentiful, the show was entertaining if you are expecting slapstick sumo performance. Great for kids or a brief exposure to retail Japanese culture.
