Our son (11) attended a windsurfing course for three days and we are absolutely thrilled! That was a really great experience for him, which we can recommend wholeheartedly and with a clear conscience. A very special thank you and praise goes to Henri, who is simply a great surf instructor. He explained everything in a super understandable and patient way, took his time, and kept motivating our son. We also thought it was great that there weren't so many children in the course (sometimes there were only three of them), so everyone got the attention they needed. Already on the first day, our son was able to celebrate his first successes, and on the second day he actually already looked like a little pro on the board! 😊🌊 And because it went so well, the next techniques were already being learned on the third day. Our son had an incredibly good time and learned a lot in the three days. Many thanks to Henri and the entire team for this great experience! We can wholeheartedly and with a clear conscience recommend the surf school and would love to come back! 🌊☀️🏄‍♂️

The first few times I started windsurfing again, I went to René Egli. That's where I met Mitch, who then moved to Shaka. What I appreciate about Shaka is that it's small but nice. I find it much more personal and not like the mass processing you get at other surf stations. Shaka is a family business, which makes it even more appealing. I think Mitch and Giorgio are the coolest guys on Fuerte. They are very attentive to people and teach you a lot. I look forward to seeing them again in June 2026 (and also Henry, whom I only saw briefly this time and watched with amazement as he attempted to pump).

I followed Mitch from René Egli to Shaka ;-D. Mitch is a great guy, an awesome surf instructor and has lots and lots of patience :-). But Giorgio and Henry (or is his name Paul? ;-D) are also great. The windsurfing centre is small but nice and is a family business. You can really feel that, which I think is very positive. I will definitely be back.

A great couple of hours trying to learn the basics! A great instructor who knew his stuff and also knew how to teach his stuff. Very patient and made the morning great fun. Also a lovely location

A really good experience - the instructor was really thorough and friendly, the setting was stunning and in a shallow point so we didn't need to worry about the depth as we could stand up. Would highly recommend!
