While the felucca ride itself was awesome, but nothing else was as advertised. Pick-up communication was poor as I was very specific about where I would be and this information was not communicated to the ride so it took additional phone calls and extra 30 minutes to be picked up. The ad stated " All transfers by a private air-conditioned vehicle" but the vehicle was an old dirty sedan with no AC. At that point I asked the contact for id, he did not have id but showed me his phone that did have the number that I was given. The ad stated " Professional guide", but the felucca captain that served as guide only provided information when specifically asked. The ad/ticket stated "Entrance fees to all mentioned sites". Had to pay my own way into the Botanic Garden. The ad stated "Your adventure continues with a visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum" but we did not stop there. The ad stated "1 bottle of mineral water" but no water was on board. When I asked about the water, captain said he would buy at Elephantine Island stop. On Elephantine Island, followed his son (who did not speak much English) through town to get water - no info about island provided. I should note that I originally booked as solo but then wanted to add two additional participants. I had trouble trying to make the change on-line (likely due to poor internet on the cruise ship) so called the tour operator directly to add them. One very pleasant aspect of the outing - the captain asked if we wanted to take the felucca all the way back to our cruise ship which was at the furthest docks away rather than going in the car. We readily agreed and the extra felucca time was enjoyed.

What an excellent afternoon/evening full of adventures! Egypt Tours you guys are amazing! Thank you so much for providing me such an unforgettable experience! For accommodating everything to my needs and for being so kind. I loved the felluca and motor boat rides along the peaceful and magic power of the river Nile. I feel blessed and grateful. The views were stunning, the nubian village is so pretty, the crocodile experience was an interesting one (nubian people are very brave! 😁), the dinner was delicious at Kendaka hotel & restaurant.
