Guide was excellent and gave great history

Compared to the Schonbrunn, this was a way better visit. Audio equipment was first class. Guide was animated and fun to listen to but made sure to deliver the history in the right amount of detail. A youtube video was sent to all participants showing exactly how to find the meeting place which was a nice touch and 1st time I had ever seen this with a Viator or TripAdvisor tour. If you like Mar-a-lago type, over-the-top glitz, you might give the tour a 5. 😉

The meeting instructions were easy to follow and the check in person had a green umbrella which was easy to find. We learned a lot on this tour. We had a tour of some city sites first annd learned some of the historical setting. Our guide, Siri, was very personable, knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Then we went through the Sisi Museum and the Imperial Apartments. The tour took about three hours and it was great.

I booked the English-language Hofburg and Empress Sisi Museum guided tour for 14:30 and arrived at the designated meeting area at approximately 14:20, before the scheduled start time. Despite arriving on time, I was told that the English group had already left. A member of the staff then directed me to join a Spanish-speaking tour group, telling me that I would be transferred to the English group later. I followed the Spanish group for around 30 minutes without receiving any explanation in English. When I finally asked when I would be transferred to my English-speaking tour, the guide simply told me to go to the Sisi Museum entrance and ask there. At the museum, the staff told me that I could not enter this way and needed to contact the tour operator. In the end, I received neither the English guided tour I had booked nor the museum access included in my booking. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I was not late. I arrived before the scheduled starting time and followed every instruction given to me by Good Vienna Tours staff. Instead of helping me join the tour I had paid for, I was repeatedly sent from one place to another until I was effectively left on my own. The service I paid for was simply not provided. I have requested a full refund, but I have not received any response regarding my refund request yet. A very disappointing experience and extremely poor organization.

We purchased our Sisi Museum pass before leaving home and it made everything easier. We went in right away with their audio guides. It was very full in the beginning and was more spacious later on. There are a lot of Sisi’s items to see, but unfortunately only replicas of her jewelry and dresses.

It is too long and could be done without so much fluff in less time. We did not like the guide in general.

I signed up for a tour of the palace and Sissi gardens. This guide was obsessed with Sissi and Joseph II to the exclusion of much info about the palace, much of which was fortunately filled in during our small group city tour the next day. Her description of Archduke Maximillian’s rule of Mexico was just wrong, again filled in the day after on another tour. And also disappointing was her summary at the holocaust memorial sculpture on the way to the palace, a throw in, which lacked even the detail i’d already read on the sign and which appeared to have little concern for the 65000 Austrian Jews who perished. Little mention was made of it, and the description of the bronze figure merely as a Jew without the explanation of its purpose on the sign was disturbing. And again, kudos to the tour the following day for throughly providing a description that was thorough that benefited our fellow tourists that day. Honesty, this was the worst tour I have ever experienced, and I have been on many. It deserves no stars.

Really enjoyed this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable, and she made our time in the museum interesting.

Brigitte was a wonderful and conscientious guide through the museum. Her tour was well-paced and informative while being humorous throughout. An injured knee meant stairs and extended standing were difficult, and Brigitte made note of that early, got us on an elevator for the stairs at the beginning, and helped locate chairs throughout the tour.

Very narrow passage and a lot of tourism for the space. They should accept less people at the same time but it's very interesting and magnificent.
