Boring. Sitting in a van with fogged over windows and I really regret not doing it myself. They drive on regular roads like everyone else, it’s not like there is any access they have that the public does not. If it was an open air truck, it would be different - but it’s not, and unless you are in the front seat , you can’t see anything. If you don’t feel like driving, that’s one thing, but otherwise this is a boring trip and you could easily do it at your own pace.

We had a great time on this adventure! We saw lots of wildlife and our driver was very knowledgable!

Joe, our tour guy was awesome. He was very about the Tetons and the animals we saw. We saw plenty, bull moose, numerous moose’s and calves. We also saw bison, antelope, elk, heron, sage grouse and trumpet swans. I would definitely recommend him as your guide! Thanks Joe for an exciting trip!

The guide worked very hard to find the wildlife. We saw moose, antelope, a blue herring, a spruce grouse, bison and numerous deer. He sent us pictures of the wildlife we saw. He was very knowledgeable about local history and the Grand Teton National park.

We saw a moose, an elk up close, an antelope, bison, a grizzly bear and her cub, some mule deer, and heard the elks bugle. We also saw some amazing scenery and a gorgeous sunset. Our guide educated us on all of the animals and was very knowledgeable.’it was one of the highlights of our trip out west!

Joe was extremely knowledgeable. Enjoyed his insight of the area history especially interesting! We saw wildlife I know we couldn’t have found on our own. The landscape was breathtaking!

It was truly unforgettable! Our guide Joe went out of his way to make sure we saw some amazing wildlife and that everyone had a great time. He’s very knowledgeable, personable, knows the area well and how to jockey into the best position. We saw a mama grizzly and her cub, moose, pronghorn, and bugling elk at sunset!

I would recommend this tour if you want to see some of the remote areas of the park that a car can't get to. Joe was a great guide and was very knowledgeable. He knows the area well as he was born in this region. He took us places that were off the beaten track looking for animals. Also turned around and found places to turn off when we did see things. He took pictures and sent them to us after the tour. Also gave us restaurant recommendations. This was a great tour with a great guide.

Chris was our guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw elk, moose, deer, and a grizzly and her cub. Very enjoyable tour!

5 💫 for the amount of wildlife we saw! Joe did an incredible job once we got going. Check-in was a little chaotic. We arrived early looking for the "black topped" Ascension van. The directions were misleading. Our van was white. Tours came and went as names were called. As the last group standing, we were approached by another guide...thankfully, he grabbed Joe who had us on his list. The tour, even in yucky weather with a rocky start, was amazing! We saw bison, moose, elk, pronghorns and a momma grizzly with her cub. We had the lake views all to ourselves due to the drizzle...truly breathtaking scenery. If you are looking for a "ride & view" from the windows, this is not for you. Be prepared to hop in & out to get the best experience. You also need to be flexible as Joe was very knowledgeable as to where the animals were. He answered all questions with respect even when asked "Where do they pen the Bison up at night?"🤣 This safari was one of the highlights of our week long trip for sure and we highly recommend it! (For those in charge, be more specific with meeting directions or put a system in place rather than having 5 different vans loading from the same address @ the same time. Also, a microphone wouldn't hurt so that hard of hearing back of the van seats are included in the conversations from the front. My final recommendation is to divide groups/fees/pricing into groups with a park pass and those without a pass. Not all participants in our van had a pass.)
