The Itinerary tells you how much time you get at each place but our driver changed those times to less time. So we didn’t purchase some things as there was not enough time to do that because of lines and enough workers to serve people. when we got back on the vehicle in her time frame and was asked if we bought anything we said we didn’t have enough time. Then ended up getting talked down to in front of everyone in the vehicle, she said she would have extended the time to accommodate and made it sound like we talked to her poorly. We just followed her rules.

Joan mentioned to us, the chocolate factory they were short staffed, which is not our fault. You also failed to mentioned in your harsh review that she offered to take you back to the chocolate factory to purchase your chocolate and you refused, and called her profanities. in front of everyone in the van., which was humiliating for her. All of the stops had the allotted time, sometimes the time allotted at stops are shorter due to people being ready to move on to the next stop. In fact Joan offered to extend the city tour and return to the chocolate factory. Joan has many many many 5 star reviews. Unfortunately you can’t please everybody, but we try extremely hard.

This is a great way to see the town. If you tried to use Uber or Lyft to see this much of Anchorage you would spend 4 times as much and miss the fun.

Great, informative tour with knowledgeable driver.
Great tour, very informative and we saw places we wouldn’t normally have been able to get to in the time we had available. Excellent samples of smoked goods and chocolates as well.

Our driver/ tour guide - Dave? Dan? I am terrible with names - was wonderful. Made us laugh. Full of information. So helpful getting us on and off safely!! He was just awesome!

So so.....
The sights and chocolate tastes were interesting and good. Unfortunately our guide was not all that interesting or good at bringing things to life. We went back to some of the same locations on another tour and the guide brought each location to life through his storytelling.
