My family booked the Jungle and Beach Horseback Ride. I'll start off by saying the transport to and from the ranch was excellent. We met at the pickup location at the designated time and were taken to the van for transport to the ranch. Our drivers to and from were great and very informative. The ranch was nice from what we saw of it. They had a little pool you could cool off in and play equipment for the kids. Unfortunately, our horseback ride experience was not great. For most of us, this was the first time on a horse. They put the 7 of us on a horse, my 3 and 5 year old each rode with an adult, and gave virtually no instruction. There was one guide for our group and he took off ahead of us. We set off to follow him but several of the horses kind of wanted to do their own thing, and us not knowing how to make them follow the guide, we were left behind. We finially got the guides attention after a stressful 10 mins or so and decided that we did not want to continue the ride. We had a hard time communicating with the guide since we did not speak spanish. We made ot back to the home base and talked to a person in charge, which fortunately, spoke English. We asked if we could have a short ATV ride instead since the horses didn't work out. They said we could if we wait for the other group to come back. We could eat lunch and relax while we waited. The food was fantastic and drinks were included. After about an hour and a half, we were taken on a short 15 minute ride around the ranch which was a blast. I wish we had opted to take the ATV tour to begin with as that was better suited for our group. The tour was supposed to be about 3.5 hours but ended up being over 4.5 and we had to ask when we could leave. We might not have minded the wait as much if we had brought swim suits and could take advantage of the pool as it was extremely hot.

Do not book this! It was a horrible experience! When we arrived they said the horses were already out. After waiting 1 1/2 hours the ride began in the blazing heat with horses that were overheated, limping, and very skid-dish. My son was on a horse with his four year old daughter. When we got to the beach his horse dropped and started to roll causing great harm to my son and granddaughter. The staff did nothing so we put my granddaughter on another horse and my son rode back with the group. My son suffered great pain and severe bruising. The lunch was awful and the tasting was a waste of time. We asked to leave and was taken back to the ship. This was a complete disaster and ruined my son’s vacation. I demand a refund and this excursion should be removed from Viator .

They don’t give you any instructions on riding a horse so be very careful if you’ve never been on a horse before. we had a family member that never been on a horse before, and the horse did its own thing and he panicked. It got so bad that he wanted off the horse 10 minutes into the ride so everyone decided to stop riding. The reason I gave the place a four star is because they made up for it by giving us an ATV ride for about 20 minutes.

All was great. Food was fantastic. Friendly staff. Horses were nice. They were late picking up but very apologetic.

The people were really friendly and welcoming. Very relaxing place. Staff were funny and let us know every step. There are a lot of mosquitos so be cautious duirng visit. We were there for about three hours total until our driver asked if we were ready to go. Our tour was only my partner and I! Which was really nice.

We had a great time! The views were spectacular, beyond description. We did the horseback ride and had a lot of fun and got some great photos and videos while riding. Our guide on the ride was helpful but did not speak English, so be prepared with some Spanish (you're in México, after all!) Everyone there was welcoming and friendly, and the food was delicious. The salsa roja that came with lunch is the best I've had anywhere; I asked if they sold it there and the hostess said they did not but she went back into the kitchen and filled a to-go container for me. We don't drink but bought some small bottles of mezcal as gifts for folks back home. Highly recommended!

Super friendly staff! The food was delicious. We had to wait over an hour for them to tack up the horses after we got there. The horseback ride didn’t feel the safest- no helmets were offered, stirrups weren’t adjusted to proper lengths, there was a dark brown horse who kicked out if other horses got close, and a grey horse who laid down and rolled once we got to the beach and took off multiple times

Overall, very nice experience, our tour guide out to the ranch was excellent, the ride on the beach was great and lunch and the Overall service was excellent

Great tour - Travelled with my two kids (8 and 5), and was a bit nervous about them riding horses as they're both usually apprehensive around animals. The guide was fantastic though - had both kids on one horse and walked the route holding the horse by the reigns. This tour was the perfect pace for us! Also followed up with a great local meal, burritos for the adults and cheese quesadillas for the kids. Definitely recommend!

This was a beautiful ranch and the horses looked well cared for. The beach was beautiful and it included lunch and free drinks. My 8 year olds first time riding and the guide was patient with her. Thank you for letting us visit your amazing ranch! Our driver made us feel safe and well taken care of!
