We really appreciate your feedback regarding Cathedral Cove as well. It is a beautiful spot, but the walk does involve some uphill sections, stairs and uneven ground. We agree that this is useful information for guests to have when deciding whether the experience is suitable for them, and we’ll continue to make this as clear as possible. Regarding the stop on the return journey, with our small group tours we do have to consider that we can have guests of different ages and needs travelling together. We try to factor in a comfort stop so everyone has the opportunity to stretch their legs, use the facilities and grab something along the way if needed. We understand that for some guests this may feel unnecessary, but it is something we find important when looking after a mixed group. Unfortunately, road conditions and which roads are being used can sometimes be outside of our control, and alternative routes may be required depending on the circumstances on the day. That said, we’re very happy to hear that you had a successful trip overall and enjoyed the beautiful Coromandel.
