We had such a lovely experience with our taxi driver in Santorini! 🥰 From the first ride, everything was so easy, comfortable and friendly. They were always on time, helpful and made us feel very welcome. We honestly couldn’t have asked for nicer taxi drivers during our stay in Santorini. She took us to the most beautiful hidden gems, showed us places we would have never discovered ourselves, and made every moment of our trip feel special. She really does it all! From organizing everything perfectly to even having someone there to help us with our luggage, Sophia thought of every little detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made the entire experience completely stress-free. One of the highlights was visiting the famous three blue domes in Oia. People can wait hours for the perfect photo there, but Sophia knew exactly where to take us and we were there, taking our pictures, in just 10 minutes! It showed us just how knowledgeable she is and how much she genuinely cares about giving her clients the best experience. But what made the trip truly special was Sophia herself. She started as our travel agent and somehow became a friend for a lifetime. ❤️ Her kindness, energy, local knowledge, and genuine passion made such a difference to our trip. Our day was exactly as we would have hoped for...Sofia stayed in touch with us leading up to our pick up from the airport, as well as, our full day tour around Santorini. She was on time, great personality, very knowledgeable and showed us the highlights of the island ending in our favorite meal in Greece at a place called Seaside along the Black Beach in Santorini. We wanted a comprehensive tour, and we got it. Sophia is very knowledgeable with fascinating details about this island. I really enjoyed our conversation. She was fun and gregarious without being overbearing. She took us from one end to the other in a comfortable and clean van with good air conditioning. She was careful about our safety — which is important to us. I also appreciated that she asked before taking us on a wine tour - which turned out to be the highlight of the trip. We booked a private tour with Sophia right after our ferry arrived, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire trip. She picked us up smoothly at the port in a comfortable car, and from there we spent four wonderful hours exploring the island together. She took us through two charming villages, Megalochori and Pyrgos, as well as up to the highest point on Santorini, where we visited a beautiful monastery with absolutely incredible views. We tried Vin Santo, a wine made by the monks there, and ended up buying a bottle to take home. From there she brought us to a lovely winery that doubled as an art gallery, where we did a proper tour and tasting. Sophia then helped us drop our bags at the hotel for us before taking us to Ammoudi Bay for a delicious lunch right by the water. Beyond the great itinerary, what really made the day was Sophia herself…she was warm, funny, and seemed to know everyone on the island. It felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a knowledgeable friend. If you're looking for a guide who combines local expertise with genuine warmth, we can't recommend her enough.
