While the commute is a bit lengthy, Ahmed broke up the journey with well-paced stops at each site, keeping everyone engaged throughout the day. He's genuinely knowledgeable and remarkably attentive. He made sure myself, my wife, and teenage daughter understood everything, adjusting his explanations for all levels of interest. Polite, professional, and deeply knowledgeable. We'd book with Ahmed again in a heartbeat!

A great day with Ahmed

Amazing experience
10/10 experience, Ahmed is a great guide and is also full of knowledge. He explains everyhing like a story making the tour very immersive, also by giving an introduction before arriving at the location. He answers to all the questions you have and did not rush us, leaving time for the pictures and walking alone at the location after the tour ends. Would highly recommend to anyone!

What an experience! Our guide Emam and our driver Ali kept us well informed, feeling safe, and laughing most of the tribe and tour of edfu and esna& Phila I temple was awesome and totally worth the trip from Luxor to Aswan. i recommend for everyone

I enjoyed it

An unforgettable day trip with Egypt Tours, led by Ahmed El Emam, a highly skilled and experienced tour guide and a seasoned Egyptologist. Thank you, Ahmed, for this wonderful day, and thank you to our driver, Hassan, who was also very professional. It was a beautiful day; we visited the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo, the great ancient city of Mefila. I highly recommend this tour with Ahmed El Emam.

Discouraging Experience
Pros:
-The guide knew hieroglyphics
-He was on time
-Got me to my destinations in one peace
-The driver was great
Cons:
-The guide complained of the heat
-Unprofessional: Blamed his lack of energy and desire on sex the night before and having 3 children
-Did not pay for boat transfer to Philae Temple and I was forced to come up with the additional cash to pay him back later
-Pressured me to skip Kom Ombo temple and to instead visit the Unfinished Obelisk. Again, implying the heat was too much, and that Kom Ombo having too many steps.
-I had to prompt him to educate me on what I was looking at, where we were, significance, etc.
-English not the sharpest
-Continuously asks if you want to buy from street markets and does not deter them from haggling you unlike the other guides

I have many successful reviews and also run an Airbnb hosting account with consistently positive feedback. Therefore, I strive to leave a good impression on my visitors. On the same day as your trip to Aswan, I experienced a family bereavement, and a colleague recommended this guide, describing him as highly skilled. This has also been disappointing for me, as it negatively impacted my work. I do not accept such misconduct and professionalism. We are very sorry for this experience.

Excursion validated!
A beautiful way to make the road from Luxor to Aswan. The road is cahotic, but we had a comfortable car and an excellent driver. A day of intense English tours led brilliantly by Ibrahim. Historical details before arrival at the sites, advanced knowledge of Egyptology and temples visited. Don't trust his age, dynamic, we sometimes had trouble keeping up with him! Attentive and very polite, he is a professional and endearing character. Recommended excursion.

Excellent tour with excellent driver
The tour was excellent and as described. Hassan was a great driver, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He took us to a great lunch place. We received good information from him about the places we were visiting. There were no surprise fees and all was hassle-free. We would absolutely book this tour again.

Recommended!!
The tour guide and the driver picked us up on time and straight ahead to the temples. The guide explained the history of Egypt during our way to the temples. He has tons of knowledge about Egypt and he even answered all our questions. We felt like we have been taken thru the time from the ancient egypt to the colonial era of greek roman era.
Only in temple of Horus in Edfu, we encountered many people. So crowded. But still enjoyable and we could listen to the guide explanations very well.
The road is bad like other reviewers said, but not all. Only some of the roads. The rest was the highway with good condition and straight away, so we did not feel struggling on our way. Because the road is quite long, the driver need a break to smoke and stretch his leg. We started at 6AM and finished around 3PM. It was worthy. The only additional ticket you need to pay is the boat to philae temple. It costed 500 EGP for 2 of us.
I recommend this tour to everyone who wants to visit the must visited temples from luxor to aswan without cruise. They dropped me off at our hotel in aswan safe and sound.
