Here’s a polished review you can post:
Akiko Kumagai made our food tour one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Tokyo. She is incredibly intelligent, knowledgeable, and engaging, but what truly sets her apart is how much fun she is to spend time with.
She introduced us to wonderful hidden restaurants and bars that we never would have found on our own. Every stop featured outstanding food and drinks, and I especially loved having the opportunity to try Japanese whisky and so many new dishes. Akiko shared fascinating insights into Japanese culture, history, and cuisine, making every moment both delicious and educational.
What impressed us most was her generosity and genuine hospitality. She even ordered another round for us and stayed well beyond the scheduled end of the tour because we were all enjoying the conversation so much.
If you’re visiting Tokyo and want an authentic, memorable evening filled with incredible food, drinks, and conversation, book a tour with Akiko Kumagai. I recommend her without reservation—you’ll leave with a full stomach, new knowledge, and wonderful memories.

Akiko Made Tokyo Feel Like Home
We had the absolute pleasure of being guided through Tokyo by Akiko Kumagai, and she exceeded every expectation. From the very start, she went above and beyond by creating a personalized itinerary with our family’s name on it — a small touch that immediately told us we were in good hands.
Akiko’s knowledge of Tokyo is remarkable, but what truly set her apart was how genuinely she cared about making the experience special for us. She tailored everything to our family, kept the pace just right, and made every stop feel meaningful rather than rushed.
If you’re looking for a guide who treats you like family rather than just another group, Akiko is the one. We couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you, Akiko — our Tokyo memories are unforgettable because of you!

A friend hands me the keys to Tokyo
It's our first trip to Japan. I’m excited to come and coming from Europe I still have some excitement about the potential linguistic-cultural gap. Tokyo is the first stop of three weeks of travel and our guide Akiko, in addition to well telling me about the places I visited, helped me a lot to make me feel comfortable and settle in quickly, thanks to his professional experience in Europe and his excellent English 👌 (not obvious in Japan). Thank you Akiko for helping us understand and love Japan. An excellent experience!!

Thank you so much, Andrea 😊
Your review truly touched me. I still remember our first days together in Tokyo and how excited (and maybe a little overwhelmed 😄) you both were at the beginning of your Japan adventure.
It makes me so happy to hear that I could help you feel comfortable and enjoy Japan more deeply. Honestly, spending time with you felt less like work and more like sharing the journey with old friends.
I loved hearing your impressions throughout the trip, and I’m already looking forward to the next chapter of your Japan travels someday 😊
Ciao from Tokyo,
Akiko

Great experience inTokyo
Thanks Akiko! 🙏 You gave us fantastic days in Tokyo, showing us the best of the culture ⛩️, food 🍣🍜, and nature 🌸🗻. You were the perfect guide!
Plus, your deep knowledge of Western culture from living in Switzerland really helped us bridge the cultural gap easily. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you so much, Antonella! 😊
I had such a wonderful time with you—it honestly felt as if we had been friends for a long time already.
Looking at your itinerary and hearing about your journey, I almost felt as if I were traveling around Japan together with you, even while staying here in Tokyo 😊
If you ever come back to Japan, I would absolutely love to see you again!
Warmly,
Akiko

Nice
Modern city meets ancient traditions. A fantastic, fast-paced tour with incredible sights. Would’ve preferred longer stops at museums.

Solo trip to Japan, Tokyo; best experience!
It was my first time visiting Tokyo; I felt anxious and wanted to explore the essential historic sites. Akiko made sure I felt at home and was kind enough to explain the history behind each site. She communicates well and provides examples so you can associate the history of a Japanese native. Overall, I had great food, explored all major parts, and wanted to return to Japan. I highly recommend using her tours!! You'll learn a lot and have fun doing it.
The best investment you will make is to learn more about Tokyo :)

Thank you for joining my tour! It was a great pleasure to guide you around, visiting Sensoji, Tokyo tower, even Kawaguchiko to meet Mt. Fuji! Wondering Akihabara in search of anime figures was also fun.
I look forward to your next visit so that I can take you to one of the best Japanese restaurants which we missed this time. Thank you again for choosing my tour!

A great time of sharing
I visited the Meiji-Shrine and the Harajuku district with Akiko last september. She was very friendly, flexible and keen to talk about Japanese culture, society and customs in addition of the tourist information about the sites. The tour enabled me to see little details that I wouldn't have noticed on my own. Akiko also gave me very good advice on how to continue visiting the city. I'd definitely recommend it!

Tour the sights of Tokyo and make a new friend
I truly enjoyed my customised tour with Akiko. She is very friendly and knowledgeable about the sights and also has a playful manner to make it great fun and memorable. Her English is excellent and it's very easy to understand her explanations. But what really delighted me is that we chatted about a lot of various topics and I could finally understand much better about Japanese people and culture. It was such a wonderful experience and it was hard to part at the end of the tour, like I had made a new friend.
